Chris, Mick was just making a joke, that is all. The NCAF does NOT have any "Offical" Special Forces in all three branches of the military. We show no interest in forming one And we never will. The closest we have to one, is just some down on their luck mercenary company that is NOT under our jurisdiction.

HMCS Ontario has arrived in Brazil to meet with the Brazilian Navy in order to track the EE fleet, but word got out that the EE fleet has already left Argentina so the tracking mission was canceled. Officers from both navys said their goodbyes and HMCS Ontario is returning home, once she returns to CFB Halifax, the old Crown Colony class Crusier will be decommissioned and the name transferred to the new Belknap Class Guided Missile Cruisers which will be commissioned along side with HMCS Quebec. the two ships designations are.

HMCS Ontario (CG-32)
HMCS Quebec (CG-31)

A message from the ROD says that they hope we will sink some ships with the new Belknap cruisers.

Off the coast of Halifax
The recently commissioned Belknap class Guided missile cruiser HMCS Quebec, is undergoing a shakedown cruise to test out its weapon systems in a simulated exercise with dummy missiles and blank ammo. the crew will be trained to load, install the fins and fire the RIM-66 Standard missiles and Harpoon Missiles from its bow mounted MK 10 Twin Rail Launcher in rapid succession, in order to get enough missiles on target.

Dispite some of the missile loading crew suffering dislocated shoulders, and some cuts and bruises here and there, they did the task well in launching several of the dummy missiles off the MK10 Launcher in double quick time. hopefully this will prove vital in any future conflict aginest the Eurasian Empire.

Hope NC understands the loading missiles on the rails in Sea State 5 will not be as easy. Need to have nimble industrial gloves. Need to get the alignment right. The rounds for the 127mm is easier and faster. Hence why the 5 inch gun ROF is much faster.
Enjoy the navy. Travel the seven seas.....

The RCN has proposed the following 3 ship class candidates to replace the County class heavy cruiser for HMCS Sir Issac Brock (Based on available ship models)

California class Guided Missile cruiser.
Virginia Class Guided Missile cruiser.
Bainbridge Class Guided Missile cruiser.

All three of these cruisers would have to be modified to use Conventional Steam Turbines since we do not have the facilities to handle nuclear powered vessels in accordance with our ban on the use of nuclear technology, even our existing fleet of Trafalgar Attack subs where built to use Diesel electric engines. Only one cruiser class will be picked after evaluation.

Fleet Modernization Program
After a few days of prep work the 2nd Belknap Crusier HMCS Ontario is now online and commissioned into the RCN, she and her sister ship HMCS Quebec, Will be assigned to the Atlantic Fleet in CFB Halifax to act as Guided Missile escorts for the Supercarrier HMCS Canada in case of air attack. long term plans are being made to acquire 4 more Belknaps for the RCN, 3 for the Pacfic Fleet and 1 for the Atlantic Fleet.

The rest of the cruisers naming will go as followed
The names of the Three Territories, Yukon, NWT, and Nunavut, will be used for the Albany class CGs.
Nova Scotia, PEI, and New Brunswick, for the Leahy Class.
Newfoundland and Labrador, will be used for ether the Galveston Class, or a conventionally powered California class (Based on the availability of the ship models in question).

And finally we have a winner of the new cruiser class for HMCS Issac Brock, the conventionally powered Virginia Class.

CFB Halifax
The Supercarrier HMCS Canada is in the process of maneuvering into the supply dock, to began loading in aircraft of the No 1 RCN Carrier Air Wing, only half of her compliment will be hauled onboard for peacetime deployment as part of a new Pacific Patrol which will be scheduled to depart this Saturday Morning.

The Navy Fighter pilots has just arrived by bus to board the carrier, the technicians both at the depot and the ship are hard at work to make sure their CF-18s are just as well pampered as the pilots who fly them, including a nice shiny coat of wax on the air frames to make the jets look dashing.

CFB Halifax
The loading of the No 1 RCN Carrier wing onto HMCS Canada is currently underway at port, her two Belknap escorts are also here as well loading up her stocks of Harpoons and RIM-66 standard missiles. along side you can see 2 of the Navys KGV Battleships at drydock undergoing their modernization refits.

(CF-18 Pilot #1): "Careful you idiot, thats my beautiful CF-18 your hauling there, I would like to not see it get all scratched up now."
(Carrier Crewman ): "Sorry Uh sir"
(CF-18 Pilot #1): "Hmm, (looks himself in a handheld mirror), such disrespect to the best CF-18 pilots of the RCN Fleet Air Arm."
(CF-18 Pilot #2): "Indeed."

After two days of loading and perpwork, HMCS Canada, HMCS Ontario, and HMCS Quebec departs CFB Halifax bound for the Pacfic Ocean, the planned route will taken them through the Northwest Passage, into the Bering Sea and finally into the Pacfic Ocean, their first stop will ether be the ROD or CFB Esquimult for refueling and will give the Naval fighters a chance to practice Carrier takeoffs and landings on Canada's flight Deck, then they will depart down to Australia for another refueling stop then its up to the new nation of Musoria to see Splod.

Mech,
Nice harbor, good set up.
Wish I had been able to get an SSN in there... two torps for each ship would have been interesting. But just couldn’t do it.

The Canadian Coast Guard owns and operates the Ice Breakers and aircraft Redleg, sadly none are in Miniature form :(, HMCS Canada will signal CCG Base Iqaluit to send CCGS Terry Fox and CCGs Louis St Laurent. to assist us in navigating through the Northwest passage.
