The next round of exercises with the Outboards will start later in the afternoon. The newly promoted Lieutenant Kale is teaching the rest of the soliders from the regiment on the basics of maneuver warfare and tactics for both offence and defence.

This Next round the Patricas light infantry will attempt to enter the Outboard side to launch a successful attack. Kale will be leading his Platoon from the front.

CFB Esquimult
Escorted by Outboard Islands F-100 Super Sabres and Canberra B.8 Bombers, The NC Trade reestablishment fleet is underway heading towards Karmanaskis carrying the vital load of Barley that the island nation desperately needs. One the ships enter international waters, the Outboard Aircraft will break off and return to Vancouver Island to continue with their patrol route.

In a significant cultural shift in the NC officer Corps, the Officers are willing to share the same risk as the troops and lead from the front, and to make sure the officers won't stand out, they will wear a common soldiers outfit in order to blend in. However there is a compromise, their time on the frontlines is limited, afterwards the officers will return to their HQ unit in the rear.

Unfortunately due to the Winter Weather rolling in, and the Outboard Island vehicles not equipped to handle Winter conditions, this exercise has been called off. the Outboard Islands 1a Company will head down to Vancouver to wait for pick up by their Navy transports, in the meantime this will give these people a chance for some R&R and visit Vancouver. Alfonso and Carlos was rather impressed by NCs improvements in overall tactics earlier. and looks forward to spring or summer to continue the joint exercises. Hopefully without any surprises by Karma, or the ROD.

Their Candidates for the Logistical Fleet portion of the program is.

Marlin Class Semi Submersible Heavy Lift vessel.
Cape class SEABEE barge carrier.

Karmanaskis welcomes the NC trade delegation and the additional barley shipment.
Talks will get underway to expand our local trade for the benefits of all.
Karma will continue to buy up land and land management companies in NC to secure control over future barley supplies.
No doubt NC will gain some intel of the KDF Navy numbers on view from the other side of the port.

No NC military personal where onboard those 2 ships.

However NC does use Barley ourselves to produce our own Beers, it would be in your best interest to stop buy up our agricultural property and lands and just stick to regular trade deals between us instead.

NC would like to ask Karmanaskis to stop buying up our Agricultural property and management services, as NC's beer industry uses Barley for their production of beer. instead we will setup a better trade deal that will allow for a effective way of shipping Barley to Karmanaskis.

The same goes for Acme Beer and any other Foreign Company, instead of buying off my lands, just go through regular trade deals.

Mech,

You can always pass a law that prohibits foreign nationals from buying land in your country. That is what Vancouver did. They passed a law that you could not buy a house that you did not intend to live in. This was because Chinese citizens were buying houses for an investment and leaving them vacant. Then driving up housing costs. Or you could leave it alone and realize, that unless NC farmers are loosing land, there is no reason to care. You still get property and revenue taxes. Both of which benefit you as a country. Given the size of your country and low population, you have plenty of land.
Quantity has a Quality all its own.
