Maybe it had landed at Pearl Harbor NAS, Honolulu, then took off from there.

Ive already changed it so it landed in Rio De Janerio Brazil for refueling before setting out on its recon flight.

“South Pacific
The Boeing 707PR from CFB Comox has landed in Rio De Janerio Brazil for a refueling stop
before setting out into the South Pacific to find and track the EE fleet.“

Opps,
Distance from Sydney, to Rio de Janerio, Brazil, 8400 miles flying from a Brazil, over the Atlantic, over Africa, over the Indian Ocean, over Australia. Might be similar distance Over the Pacific Ocean and over South America. So it is further, a great distance.
The EE task force is further to the north.

CoC is sending Recovery group to pick up the pieces.

Did not think it flew into Sydney or from Sydney, AU.

Well what the plan was that the 707 takes off from Brazil to the South Pacific searches for the fleet, then head back to Brazil for another refueling stop for the flight back to Comox.

This may be of some help.

https://www.distance.to/

Good for basic air or ground plans with time and distance.
So if you type in Comox to Rio you get.

7,063 miles (11,366 km) taking about 13 h 52 mins.

Cheers,
Mick.

Your plane would land (Crash) in the ocean. Incidentally, if it had double the range it would crash on the way back. It is further from the EE battle group than Vancouver is to the EE task force.

Ok since its a little up north the 707 could fly out to the fleets position, photo graph them and fly back to Comox.

In anticipation for selecting a new light carrier, HMCS puncher was decommissioned so the name can be transferred to a new class once selected. the old Ruler Class carrier was given a minor refit and turned into the Repair ship HMCS Duct Tape (AR-91) captained by Steven Smith from Port Asbestos Ontario.

Ok nevermind about the Tariffs thing Chris, I thought it would make a good scenario, but I realize that was a bit silly so lets not do that.

Anyway what do you guys think about my Repair Ship? At least I found a use for those extra cranes from the various ships I own.
