Re: Canada (Imagi-Nation)
The RCN ships are welcome to make port in San Andreas on the north-western ROD coast. The port there is large and deep enough to handle your carrier. Please note that your aircraft will have to stay on the carrier while you are in ROD territory and your personnel will be subject to ROD law while they are there.

Briefing room Onboard HMCS Canada.
(Flight leader): "Bad news guys our first carrier flight has been canceled as per ordered by the ROD."
(Lots of groaning from the pilots).
(CF-18 Pilot 1):"Ahh, Son of a B*&$h."
(CF-18 Pilot 2): "SNAFU, Situation Normal"
(All Pilots in Unison) : "All F#^ked Up."

Re: Canada (Imagi-Nation)
You've got the whole Pacific to fly around in, we're just asking you to not fly inside of ROD airspace. You've got at least 1500 miles from the Bering Sea to the ROD.

Re: Canada (Imagi-Nation)
We don't normally practice Carrier take offs and landings out in the open ocean, The RCN Fleet Air Arm's standard flight training procedure, calls us to conduct our carrier training close to shore in case something went wrong with the jets.

Re: Canada (Imagi-Nation)
NC might consider selling the carrier. That way the Royal commissions that have been purchased will not go to waste with the death of a pilot in a plane crash. Just an idea.

Anyway, This stop at the ROD is just a refueling stop before we sail to CFB Esquimult to carry out our first Carrier operations training of this patrol.

Re: Canada (Imagi-Nation)
I am sure I will regret interjecting.
Mech, you do have search and rescue helos on you carrier, correct? Things go wrong everytime an aircraft flies. How are you going to use your aircraft at all if you are worried about something going wrong. will you only fly your jets near land? Your search and rescue teams should be ready to rescue your pilots....I am really confused!!!!!!.

Re: Canada (Imagi-Nation)
Y’all do know a battleship is safer in port. Much safer.
NC might consider keeping the carrier Hudson Bay. Plenty of room to maneuver yet close to shore, protected from the more harsh winds and waves of an ocean. Offers more maneuvering than the Persian Gulf. It is ‘central’ to NC and central to the defense of NC.

To be honest Hoth, the Carrier and the Air wing its carrying are still rather green, and this is their first time in the Pacific. It will take awhile for them to develop the skills needed to operate on the open ocean with ease.

Re: Canada (Imagi-Nation)
With the Refueling process in the ROD now Complete and our thrice drunk crew has returned to HMCS Canada, the RCN Pacfic Patrol Squadron leaves the ROD Nation behind, bound for our base in CFB Esquimult to meet with the admiralty of the Pacfic Fleet before conducting the first real carrier operations training. this renewed the pilots excitement to start flying for real after spending most of the trip conducted simulated carrier landings and take offs on computer. the Carrier practice will be conducted on Thursday off Clayoquot Sound near the community of Tofino.

Re: Canada (Imagi-Nation)
To be honest Cama at one point the real Royal Canadian Navy Where "Interested" in acquiring the french made Mistral Class LHAs in 2012 with SNC Lavalin contracted to build 2 with an option to get a third. But I guess that did not happen. Instead the money went into building the Harry DeWolf Class Arctic Offshore Patrol vessel.
Oh well you can count on the NC Version of the Royal Canadian Navy with their Aircraft carriers, even if the ships are a bit old. I have plans on buying 2 Tawana class LHA models to replace the previous Ruler class for Puncher and Nabob. with an option of getting the Wasp model, if the US decides to scrap the USS Bonhome Richard.

CFB Esquimult
The RCN Patrol group has arrived at the Naval base, the senior staff from the group will pay a visit to the Admiralty of the Pacfic Fleet at HQ for a meeting. Unfortunately due to a Misunderstanding by our neighboring island nation of Karmanaskis, the Live carrier operations exercise that was scheduled for Thursday at Clayoquot Sound is now canceled, all Navy pilots will be taken by bus to CFB Comox for more Simulated Carrier Operations at the Bases Simulator Room. The carriers flight technicians are again hard at work to maintain the CF-18s in the hanger deck for Hopefully their first Carrier training flight at the next stop on the patrol.

Re: Canada (Imagi-Nation)
The officers meeting has been concluded, and the data we have on the incident in the Bearing sea was inconclusive as even the admiralty has never heard of a aircraft that can travel at Mach 3.
The Officers are returning back to the carrier, the pilots are still at Comox being given much needed hours of simulator experience to make up for the two canceled live carrier flights. They will be returning back late tonight.
Our next stop for the patrol tomorrow is going to be a short trip as for the first time we will be visiting the Republic of the Pacfic Northwest. the pilots will probably have the chance for their first real carrier training flight...I hope
