Umm, Mech, not to point out the obvious, but do you think you might want to have asked for permission to visit the RPNW before you sail into port. Sine there is no request, for port of call, no approval has been given.

In addition and again not to point out the obvious, all my ports are not on the coast. They are either up the columbia river or inside the puget sound. No room for carrier ops. Also, if your carrier is going to do training close to the RPNW, I am assuming that you will need to have search and rescue available because you stated that your search and rescue aboard the carrier is inadequate because you will not do carrier ops training for your pilots out at see like most nations.... Since it has not been asked for, none is available.
Quantity has a Quality all its own.

Oh crap I forgot to ask for permission first.

As for the search and rescue this that is correct though I did not say its inadequate, its just that all the pilots in the 1st RCN Carrier Air Wing are just rookies out on there first trip into the Pacific. The crew of the carrier are also new since the ship was commissioned months ago. so i may need your search and rescue to stand by in case one of the pilots accidentally ends up in the drink.

After a few hours of deliberations, the trip to the RPNW has been canceled as they don't have the room to conduct Carrier Operations training. instead the RCN Patrol will sail down to visit San Diego Ca. As their base is on the coastline plenty of room to conduct Carrier Ops training, the ships will depart tonight.

Green Peace is planning a boat parade to protest the RNC Navy. They kill whales with their training.
As of today’s PR release, Green Peace is hoping for a few hundred boats of all types to interrupt the training so the whales, the dolphins can live. Their training is right in the migration path of Orcas. The GP ocean going ship will be there sailing from Los Angeles. Request for donations of those that are unable to make to the Boat Protest.

There has been a change of plans, as the Australian navy sent us information of the Imperial Convoy (NSF-E03) that has sailed across the Pacfic and based on its course its heading to south America, The RCN has ordered the Patrol Squadron who has stopped in San Diego for refueling to sail to their last known position to monitor the convoys activity.

San Diego CA
Under Escort by a Ticonderoga Class Crusier, The RCN Patrol group sets out to monitor the activities of the EE Convoy, this might be a good chance to get the CF-18s out of the hanger deck to do a fly over of the convoy itself.

Any time is a good time to get planes out of the hangar deck and get them into the air!

Planes are safer in the hanger. Additionally, parts last longer maintenance costs decline. Just have them ready, run the diagnostics.

HMCS Canada Briefing room.
4 of the pilots from the 1st RCN Carrier Air Wing are being debriefed by their Air Wings Commander over the mission to monitor the Imperial Convoy. The plan calls for four CF-18s to take off and perform a recon and observation flight over the Convoy, then return back to the carrier.

Hanger Deck
A Couple of Flight Deck crew and some of the Aircraft Techs are in the middle of a poker game to pass the time before they have to get the 4 CF-18s up to flight stats for the Mission.
