NC Urban Clearing Tactic.

The NCAF has updated the Infantryman's feild manual with the following tactic oh how to properly clear out a building of enemies. This came from the same lessons learned during the Suez War, and from a recent complaint by the ROD about our Saturation Bombardment Tactic. This new tactic requires a squad of NC soldiers to enter into the building, and check room to room to clear out any hostiles they will find. The list of Weapons and equipment needed for this type of close quarters fighting are laid out.

1. Ether a SMG (Sten MK II or MP5) or Shotgun (Remington 870)
2. Flamethrower, Portable, No 2 as a heavy weapon option.
3. Bangalore torpedo for clearing obstacles.
4. Frag and Flash Bang Grenades.

CFB Halifax
The Ticonderoga Class Cruiser HMCS Nunavut is at port in CFB Halifax preparing for the first ever Atlantic Patrol for the RCN. The scheduled departure date is set for Friday this week with the first destination being Spain, before entering the Mediterranean and stopping at Greece, then head to Egypt to monitor the EE activity in their security zone from a good safe distance, before sailing out of the Med and crossing the Atlantic towards Cats Paw Island. Before heading home to CFB Halifax.

CFB Halifax
After 2 days of preparations HMCS Nunavut has set sail out of Halifax and will be proceeding to cross the expanse of the Atlantic Ocean to Spain, before entering the Mediterranean to monitor the EE security zone in Egypt for any sign of activity there given recent events.

Meanwhile back at home, the NCAF has introduced 2 more advanced UAVs to its fleet the RQ-4 Global Hawk, and the MQ-9 Reaper, both of these drones are scheduled to enter full operation by early May, the existing Ryan Lightning Bugs will slowly be phased out from frontline service and placed into UAV Training roles to help pilots learn the basics of drone operation before moving on to the Global Hawks and Reapers. In the NC Army, efforts are underway to refurbish the old Stryker MGS (designated as LAV III MGS) and bring them back to full operational condition to serve in the light vehicle regiments for Anti-Tank work along side with the LAV III TUAs.

Due to a recent lack of military operations for the NCAF to take part in. The military has decided to temporarily order some units to Stand down and give the servicemen a extended holiday for the time being. Fortunately the Stanley Cup finals are coming up. Training will also be put on hold as well during this time.

Barcelona Spain
After spending 6 Days crossing the Atlantic, HMCS Nunavut has arrived at her first stop on the Atlantic Patrol route in Barcelona Spain, she will remain there for a day then she will make her trip to Egypt to monitor any activity in the EE's Security Zone for a week or 2, though unfortunately she will have to remain out in international waters during that time. Tell the ROD that we are here.

After visiting Barcelona Spain for a day, HMCS Nunavut departs for Egypt to begin her 2 week long observation of the EE Security Zone. the cruiser will arrive in international waters just outside of Alexandra in 2 days. Have you been given permission to fly drones in a country that does not want you operating in there territory?
Quantity has a Quality all its own.

Moroccodom Coast Guard 70, hails the HMCS Nunavut for inspection, Spanish CG Patrol Boat 110 also arrives.
As a warship of non-belligerent, check paper on bridge for safety reports. Difficult inquiry of the CO, for nuclear weapons on board.
It was reported by a wire to or Coast Guard, Spain, Italy, Moroccodom….

HMCS Nunavut responds to the Coast guards request for inspection and slowed down for the coast guard boats to pull up along side for the inspection team to board.

Safety inspection of paperwork in order. The ship appears to be in good order. Any nuclear weapons?
Chemical and/or biological weapons?

To the CO, appreciate your time and courtesy.
You are set for free navigation. BTW: if you get near EE forces, they will come after you again, just like in Greece.
(Note, rolling dice) They, EE, did not seem nice about it at all. Don’t forget their bombers that may be in Turkey and or Egypt among other countries. Take care, casting off.

Mediterranean
HMCS Nunavut has arrived in international waters off Egypt, after passing an ROD Carrier Battle Group that was just heading out of the Med. The Nunavut Will be on station for two weeks monitoring the EE activity in their Security Zone. Hopfully without any problems.

Meanwhile at home The RCN has got a huge stroke of luck with the F-35 problem, As the US has 4 Ex Turkish F-35As they are willing to deliver to the RCN for use with the super carrier HMCS Canada.
