Mediterranean. Day 3 of observing the EE security zone.

The decision was made to not launch the Recon Drone as planned since that would violate the sovereignty of Egypt. All of the Nunavut’s assets will remain in international waters.

Mediterranean. After Day 3 of monitoring the EE security zone.

After 3 uninteresting days of boredom and very limited opportunities for monitoring the EE while out in international waters, the Captain of the Nunavut has decided to pack up early and take the ship out of the med as soon as possible following the ROD Carrier Battle group out of here, our next stop is at Cats Paw Island. Will rendezvous with HMCS Hero when we reach Gibraltar and out of this wretched place. Tell the ROD that we are leaving the Med.

The first set of LAV III MGS are ready for active duty in May. Also the NC army is looking into acquiring the Javelin AT missile system to add to their inventory.

Gibraltar.
HMCS Nunavut has arrived in Gibraltar for a refuelling stop before making the Atlantic Crossing to Cats paw Island. They had all the limited data they acquired on the EE’s security zone from their rather brief 3 day stay. in order to compile what their intentions are here. Hopefully if Egypt will allow us to send troops should the EE decide to take the Suez again.

Atlantic Ocean
Pulling up along side HMCS Nunavut the courier ship HMCS Hero is in the process of unloading the mail while receiving some mail as well including all the documents relating to the EE security zone during that brief Patrol in the Med. Hero will deliver this important information back to Atlantic Command in Halifax.

CFB Wainwright
The NCAF is performing trial runs of the Javelin ATGM at the test range here in Wainwright Alberta in front of the Department of Acquisitions and the Army's Top Brass. The goal here is to test the viability of the weapon for general use with the NC Army. If proven successful and the proper documentation is signed by the Department, the Javelin will be put into active service.

The testing of the Javelin has been concluded, even though it did very well. The Army gave the Javelin a pass citing the expensive costs of the Launcher and missiles need to deploy to the regular army. The M47 Dragon will be used in its place.

The Feline Confederation, has asked NC to buy the initial batch Javelins off of them for their Army.

Cats Paw Island.
After making the Atlantic Crossing, the NC Cruiser HMCS Nunavut has finally reached Cats Paw Island. Home of the Feline Confederation, the NC cruiser will remain at the Port of Feralberg till Monday. This will give the crew some very much needed R&R after that rather disappointing mission outside Egypt's waters to monitor the EE security zone there. The next stop will be an attempt to visit the Gator State on the way back to NC... Assuming if they are willing to have visitors at all, but will try regardless.

The Feline Army has suggested to us to give the Javelin ATGM another shot as in their own words "Its better to have a good weapon the first time, then having a dozen bad ones."

After a second round of testing with the Javelin ATGM and consulting with some research we found. the NC Army has finally Adopted the Javelin, The weapon will only be deployed at the Company level at best. Also the idea of getting the British NLAW has been brought up as its an inexpensive but capable AT weapon for Platoon sized formations as opposed to the M47 Dragon currently existing in NC inventory. That will be determined once we get a good example of one. Its for the good of the NCAF to improve our AT capability given recent confirmed sightings of M1 Abrams Tanks in EE service. This has caused alot of NC Army officers to break out in a cold sweet, given how indestructible the Abrams Tank is.

An unnamed junior level administer was talking to a few coworkers at lunch in Topeka, was overhead saying the following:
“ Since there is no river around here navigable by a cruiser and the US will not give him permission to enter even the Mississippi to get here. Should he manage to get this far, somehow, he WILL run aground. Wouldn’t it be great, then we could line the banks with tank battalions for tank gunnery and march his crew in chains naked through every town and city to the NC border. Wouldn’t that be an image?”

Hahahahaha! Better check depth chart of the Kansas River. Several battalion commanders have asked that GS contact the US
to arrange permission for the NC cruiser to try to get up to St. Louis on the Mississippi. They would like to conduct tank gunnery from the banks. The arty would like some practice, too. GS has collected the chains necessary. Visitors to GS are STRONGLY DISCOURAGED. If you insist, you will be shot and your remains will be returned to your country via ICBM. Insist and the second ICBM will be armed. Yep, we ain't friendly. GS is rude intionally.
All blessings flow from a good mission statement.
