In a Statement that was sent by LT Kale of the NC army. The NCAF council has concluded, that it was a mistake to rely purely on Drones for scouting, as such they decided to reestablish the Scout Platoon training programs in order to get actual boot on the ground to spot the enemy and only use the drones to help expand their recon work.

Also, dispite the past councils misgivings and post 9/11 superstitions towards Special Operations Forces at the time, the Council has made their decision to reactivate the Black Maple Company as a official NC unit, But under a new leadership.

With the Black Maple Company now reinstated, Efforts are underway to start training new operators for NC's own Special Operations unit. The training will be conducted with help from the Feline Confederacy's Donner Katzen SO Regiments at their base back home. The Equipment will have to be replaced since most of it got scrapped last year.

After nearly a month since the Improvised Weapons ban came into full effect, The reprint of the NC field manual that omits the production and use of these devices, has been successfully issued to the NC army, in its place is how to dispose of these infernal devices while out on military campaign in another country, destroy any bomb making sites you may find during the operation, and arrest the people involved in making such devices.

RCN Fleet Modernization
The US Navy has offered 3 of their decommissioned Ticonderoga class cruisers to the RCN as a more modern alternative to the Albany Class CGs, since the Ticon's have the MK41 VLS launchers. Seeing this a good opportunity the RCN accepts this generous offer and are signing the necessary paperwork to transfer and renaming for the following 3 cruisers.

USS Monterey (CG-61) - HMCS Nunavut (CG-40)
USS Vella Gulf (CG-72) - HMCS North West Territories (CG-41)
USS Port Royal (CG-73)- HMCS Yukon (CG-42)

The first of the Ticonderoga class cruisers (Ex USS Monterey) has now been commissioned into the Royal Canadian Navy as the HMCS Nunavut (CG 40) as part of the Territories class of missile cruisers. However as part of the deal, The US Navy has removed the AEGIS Combat System out of the old cruisers for use in the ships that is going to replace them. The other two ships (Ex Port Royal and Ex Vella Gulf) is still at a US Shipyard for their conversion for RCN use.

RCN VLS tactics
With the recent commissioning of the Ticonderoga class CG HMCS Nunavut. The RCNs drafting out tactics to utilize the VLS launchers to fill effect. They suggested that we configure the launchers to one of these three specific tasks.

Ship to Shore Bombardment Config. 122 Tomahawk Missiles to saturate ground targets from a good distance.
Anti-shipping Config. 30 each of RIM-67 missiles and ASROC missiles to target and sink enemy warships and submarines.
Anti-Aircraft Config. 122 RIM-67 missiles to shoot down enemy aircraft.

The three Ticonderoga's will become the leaders of their own respected cruiser squadrons when more Belknaps light crusiers (Province class) comes online. They will become the frontline force against any enemy warships, or to support landing operations with the Tomahawks.

Vancouver Island British Columbia.
With News of KDF aircraft making Air and Sea entries into the ROD, Aircraft from the NCAF and Outboard Islands are patrolling the skies to watch for similar such intrusions by the KDF, and the Brand New cruiser HMCS Nunavut is out patrolling the seas around Vancouver Island looking for Karma ships. This was rather unexpected for Karmanaskis, ever since when they allied themselves with the Eurasian Empire last year. It was rumoured that there could be EE attaches in the KDF. The NC's Aviation competition will still continue.

The Unidentified aircraft (F-29) received a radio transmission asking to identify and that military aircraft were on the way. I the pilot replied I am F-29, I have two F-23 flying ACAP with me. We will wait for your aircraft. …over….
There was not a response, after 15 minutes loitering they left to return to Greenlanddom.
