With Things calming down now. the RCN is resuming the plan to bring the supercarrier HMCS Canada back its home base in CFB Halifax via the Northwest Passage. it will carry a few S-2 Trackers and Sea-King helicopters onboard, as the rest where already transported by rail to their Aviation depot in Halifax. her Belknap Escorts will join her as well. Once the supercarrier arrives she will be placed in dry dock for routine maintenance. the pilots will make the best out of this trip by grabbing some more stick time in a flight simulator.

Final preparations are being made for the Supercarrier HMCS Canada and her 2 escorts to depart from the base to sail back to Halifax, shes currently docked at the fuel depot to fill their fuel tanks for the trip back. they will depart Friday in the afternoon bound for the Northwest Passage. The Carriers current aircraft manifest is 6 S-2 Trackers, 4 SeaKing Helicopters, and 2 of the new C-2 Greyhound transport aircraft, none of her CF-18s are onboard, due to them along with other aircraft of No 1 RCN Carrier Wing being carted off by rail to Halifax earlier last month during The Troubles.

Has the NC Army deploy any army units near Vancouver or in BC area to defend against PRNW?
How will NC keep any opposing forces out of country?

We never did deploy any NC Army units to our southern border with that nation as way of avoiding escalation during this time, so far the RPNW is only doing border patrols at this time. I hope that the trial results helped to defuse this situation with them.

Its better to not get into a conflict.

Didn’t deploy any on the southern border. Guess you knew or were expecting they were Sabre-rattling.

Careful what you think you know, because you could be wrong. I was not saber rattling. My forces are still in position and at a high state of readiness.

Though NC feels the show trial was enough to quell any concern, the RPNW is not buying it. NC is unpredictable and unstable. The government constantly puts blame on people at the lower echelon of there military, but it's obvious that it's a top down issue. The build up to the south is real. Give me any reason to roll in and take vancouver and the whole british columbia province. It's written into our constitution that our brothers in BC is the only canadian province that may join the RPNW without a vote of the representatives.
Quantity has a Quality all its own.

The CoC stands ready to defend the Eastern area of the Hudson Bay, Hudson Straight from anyone and the Northwest Passage from EE or anyone else. Speaking to the men working on site indicate that they will defend the construction site using nail guns and shovels if needed on Belcher Island.

Changing of the Guard at the NCAF Council.

Every 4 years the old members of the NCAF Council will step down into retirement in a formal ceremony that will replace them with newly selected Candidates chosen from among the NCs Officers Corps that will lead the military into the future. Now that time has come. The primary selection process to fill those vacant positions will began late this week.

To become a member of the NCAF Council, one must show, Strength, Determination, Responsibility, Courage, and Wisdom, in order to lead and organize the whole Armed Forces.

This Changing of the Guard will be concluded this Summer once COVID is no longer the problem.

Courage, determination, wisdom and responsibility might be traits of NC NCOs, not NC Officers.
Officers buy their commission. Maybe they are determined since the cash outlay is significant.

The practice of buying officer commissions had been abolished in a reform last year, these new Officers that will be selected for the new NCAF Council are from the new Merit system that we currently use now.

That merit system will not really make difference for 20-25 years. We’re Admirals and General removed from their positions and ranks?

Just the positions on the NCAF council, they will still keep their ranks when they retire. this change of the guard will result in having more experienced and Competent officers running the whole organization.
