NC Urban Clearing Tactic.

The NCAF has updated the Infantryman's feild manual with the following tactic oh how to properly clear out a building of enemies. This came from the same lessons learned during the Suez War, and from a recent complaint by the ROD about our Saturation Bombardment Tactic. This new tactic requires a squad of NC soldiers to enter into the building, and check room to room to clear out any hostiles they will find. The list of Weapons and equipment needed for this type of close quarters fighting are laid out.

1. Ether a SMG (Sten MK II or MP5) or Shotgun (Remington 870)
2. Flamethrower, Portable, No 2 as a heavy weapon option.
3. Bangalore torpedo for clearing obstacles.
4. Frag and Flash Bang Grenades.

CFB Halifax
After 2 days of preparations HMCS Nunavut has set sail out of Halifax and will be proceeding to cross the expanse of the Atlantic Ocean to Spain, before entering the Mediterranean to monitor the EE security zone in Egypt for any sign of activity there given recent events.

Meanwhile back at home, the NCAF has introduced 2 more advanced UAVs to its fleet the RQ-4 Global Hawk, and the MQ-9 Reaper, both of these drones are scheduled to enter full operation by early May, the existing Ryan Lightning Bugs will slowly be phased out from frontline service and placed into UAV Training roles to help pilots learn the basics of drone operation before moving on to the Global Hawks and Reapers. In the NC Army, efforts are underway to refurbish the old Stryker MGS (designated as LAV III MGS) and bring them back to full operational condition to serve in the light vehicle regiments for Anti-Tank work along side with the LAV III TUAs.

Due to a recent lack of military operations for the NCAF to take part in. The military has decided to temporarily order some units to Stand down and give the servicemen a extended holiday for the time being. Fortunately the Stanley Cup finals are coming up. Training will also be put on hold as well during this time.

Safety inspection of paperwork in order. The ship appears to be in good order. Any nuclear weapons?
Chemical and/or biological weapons?

To the CO, appreciate your time and courtesy.
You are set for free navigation. BTW: if you get near EE forces, they will come after you again, just like in Greece.
(Note, rolling dice) They, EE, did not seem nice about it at all. Don’t forget their bombers that may be in Turkey and or Egypt among other countries. Take care, casting off.

Mediterranean
HMCS Nunavut has arrived in international waters off Egypt, after passing an ROD Carrier Battle Group that was just heading out of the Med. The Nunavut Will be on station for two weeks monitoring the EE activity in their Security Zone. Hopfully without any problems.

Meanwhile at home The RCN has got a huge stroke of luck with the F-35 problem, As the US has 4 Ex Turkish F-35As they are willing to deliver to the RCN for use with the super carrier HMCS Canada.
