Nice work Tom! I have to admit I didn't know the Iranians used CH-47s!

Re: My Moderns
Thank you Red Leg. Yes, they were/are their heavy lift helos.
12/8/20: Last night I completed an F-4 for my Iranians. The F-4 is my favorite Cold War fighter. The model is by GHQ and its pictures may be found in the Iran Section; Fixed Wing Assets under the "more" tab. This will be my last moderns for awhile as funds are low and I have no more modern miniatures in house.

That's a nice looking Phantom, Tom! In fact all the planes look great - I like the F-14 in particular!
The Phantom is a pretty popular aircraft among the forum members I have noticed. Maye it's just us showing our age, but there are quite a few fans of that plane, including me!

Mine as well. Iconic! A game-changer when it arrived in the squadrons. Plus it holds some records that I believe still stand today. And it just has such a distinctive look to it. Like the F4U Corsair when it came out. Looked like nothing else around.redleg wrote: ↑Thu Dec 10, 2020 12:25 amThat's a nice looking Phantom, Tom! The BTR-80s are by GHQ. I also have completed most of my Iranians, just am waiting for bases to come in. The new pictures can be seen at the top of the Soviet page under the "More" tab.

Thank you Pete and Redleg. Being unemployed for 3 months will give you a lot of free time to work on the lead pile!

3/5/21: I have completed an AA Btn for my Iranians. The pictures are up on their page under the "More" tab. The ZSU-57-2s are by CnC, The HAWK Missles and radar are from Shapeways and the rest are by GHQ. I tried two different washes, not sure which shade I like better.
