PLA Navy colors

The few sources I have found call the deck color for non flight decks a gray, ambiguous and I have not seen any specific model paints recommended.
However I have found several photos on line of different ships with a deck color that has a very distinctive purple tint to it. The tint of these on line photos could be due to color distortion in the original camera or later.
I took a photo of two Type 72A LSTs in Shanghai 2 years ago and the decks just look a neutral gray. But it was late afternoon on a hazy day in China and the color could have been any shade shade of gray. There is also a central rectangle on the decks in a lighter color, that area is not on the GHQ model or the on line photos.
Anyone know the correct deck color, or a source for it? I’d really like to paint the models with the purple tint, it’s so cool and distinctive, but. It if it’s just wrong.
