Donald, I believe your indirect reference was missed by some folks.
For those concerned, "navEl" is the divot in your front lower abdomen (you may have an outlet instead of an inie).
"NavAl" refers to an armed, sea-going force, the noun of which is "navy."
There was a time when "military" was an adjective referring to land forces and "naval" to sea forces. Thanks to journalism majors, the word now collectively refers to all armed forces, land, sea, and air, as a noun.
