You should probably photograph them from the front or side with the turret facing forward.

See the new Type 59.

Nice model though.

I prefer the unpainted ones, too. The camouflage often does its job, which is to hide details.

I agree - I was looking at some of the British 1/2400 WW2 ships only yesterday and thinking that the pictures in camouflage hid all the fine detail.

Maybe a white or gray primer with a wash to highlight details would help. Sometimes the natural finish reflects too much.

I thought I'm the only one spotting the turret facing backwards. That's for voicing it out. :)
