I really need to add antennas to my vehicles some day. Maybe even this year. Those add so much character to your vehicles.

The best antenna material I have found for 1/35 scale armor is metal guitar strings. The higher strings for the antenna, lower trings for the spring. Probably no spring on the 1/285 scale. Pick the appropriate string for your needs.

I dob't care fo the paintbrush solution, although it appears to be both easy and good. I don't think plastic rod is good. I'm still looking.

These Fuchs have had the antennas for a decade or more. Added machine gun turret and then Aussie camouflage recently.
As I think of the three. The one with the radar dish is counter-battery vehicle, the Fuchs with the 8 antennas is communication and the straight 10-antennas is the Hummel for radio/radar detection, identification and jamming.

These trucks are old, perhaps 30 years old for a few of them, all over 20 years.

Love the trucks Chris. Some of my earliest Syrians, PLA and Marines are at least 20 years old now.
