These Ratels are by Johan Schoeman. He served in SADF.

Chris, I think you are really partial to those Ratels.

PG, I do like the Ratel. Don’t know why. It did lose some of the luster looking at the drivers station... spartan.

As I was looking for 3-tone NATO, I came across 6 of the Aussie camo Abrams, so I had to add antennas, weapon station. Then netting on 3 older turrets and a couple of hulls.

The CoC can have formation on parade ground, too. We don’t have the cool Cav Guidons.

Your units look magnificent Chris! The air defense vehicles are pretty awesome!

I mentioned before that the way you personalize your vehicles is great - the antennas and tank commanders and camo netting are all fantastic. But I have to say the cargo in your trucks is pretty amazing too! What material do you use for the tarps? I found myself staring at the pics of your logistics section trying to figure out what was under the tarps and then I remembered that it's micro armor!

Redleg, you are too kind.
The tarps are aluminum foil. Primed first, then fitted over styrene or balsa wood. Then hand painted the color desired.

Here are some M60s that I painted probably over 20 years ago.

Chris, you are my hero Dude! I think your collection can be seen by orbit. I'm going to try some foil tarps soon to see if I can make it look as good as yours, but I'm not holding my breath. Excellent work!
