Saw the announcement that the 3rd ship of the class will be named for Doris MIller. He was the cook who manned an anti-aircraft gun and rendered first aid to injured ship mates during the attack on Pearl Harbor. The ship will be laid down in 2023 and launched in 2028. Now, I'm eyeing the mini.

Some past presidents do have a history in naval aviation, but it's good to see a carrier named after someone that's not a politician!

It is the fourth ship after Ford, Kennedy and Enterprise.
Unfortunately, there was no happy ending for him.
I would have liked it.
