Nice work, Redleg! Your CAARNG project reminds me of my last duty assignment in the Army which was in Readiness Group Los Angeles or better known as RGLA back in the 1980s. We were stationed at the Reserve Center at Los Alamitos. I remember making a few trips out to Ft. Irwin as well as Camp Roberts during the time I was there. We even went to Boise, ID to assist a unit transitioning to M60A3s as I recall.

Great stuff, redleg! A cross-attached battalion becomes a task force, although I don't know if the term is still used with today's combined arms battalions. A task force is combat-tailored for the mission. Other units may be attached, as well, to augment its capability. Great paint, too. I am building a California National Guard unit of M48A5s with a desert MERDC scheme, as pictured in one of my books. It will go to my armored group, since my division doesn't have a roundout brigade.

I don't do dismounts, though. Prefer to focus on vehicles.

I would recommend a flat dark gray for your roadwheel rubber and tracks. Same for machinegun barrels.

Wait....M901s? Were there ITVs in the rifle companies or were they attached from an AT company?

Just when I think I'm finished I find out that I'm missing something! LOL

Under the H series, the weapons platoon had an M113 plt ldr's vehicle, 3 M125 81mm mortar vehicles, and 2 anti-tank vehicles, first TOWUnder Armor, then M901s. Under the J series, the companies lost the 81mm mortars, but retained the anti-tank section. The battalion anti-tank platoon became E Company, also equipped with 12 M901s. This continued for J series units equipped with M113A2s, but the anti-tank sections were withdrawn from units equipped with M2 Bradley. The AT company remained in Bradley battalions through First Gulf, but were never intended as a permanent fixture, particularly since the M901 couldn't keep up with the Bradley, and were eventually withdrawn.

The MV Horton has set sail with a couple of M901 for you Redleg. There are some holes in the hull, if you would seal it with Flexi-seal (commercial on TV), then send it to Karmanaskis. There are 24 Balzac AvatarBeer Trailer Kegs. A dozen for ROD and a dozen for Karmanaskis.

This is great news - our thanks to the CoC. There seems to be a problem with the bill of lading though. The way we read it there are 24 beer keg trailers for the ROD and none for Karmanaskis!

Your real solution is to import a German braumeister or two and set up your own brewery. That is what Garor State did. And the fragrance of the works permeates the atmoshere over the State to the delight of all.

President Redleg,
You, of course, are completely correct. Avatar Brewing has informed me that they included an Avatar Micro Brewery system. Of course the need to buy the Avatar hops, barley, etc. and finance the expertise of a few Brewmisters from Balzac. Then you may be able to be the first Avatar Brewing Internationally licensed brewery. Commercial Exports are not permitted.

Thanks, Tom! I've got three companies done and now I'm trying to close out the last 14 for D Company. I found that I really took my time on the first company because I was trying to perfect the camo pattern, but then after I felt pretty good about the pint jobs my focus changed to "Crap! I have a lot of tanks still to paint!" and I started to rush them. Early ones definitely look better than the later ones!
