Great Graham Island Nation

Post by chrisswim »

(On own thread)
The Great Graham Island Nation is concerned with the aggressive nature and actions of Karma. BTW, it has bad karma. It even smells bad.
Graham Island is similar in size to Vancouver Island, north of it. A few smaller islands, so we are off the coast.
Diplomatic relationships with NC, Karma, Eski, CoC, ROD.and many others.

From the southern end of Great Graham Island Nation is Mosesby Island. The security team, Sgt. Lojeck, is looking into Vancouver Island, about 2 miles south, wondering what in the world is happening in Karma.... New SOP are in place, weapons at the ready since Karma kicked out the Canadians. Certainly, nothing should happen real soon, but one never knows when the time will come.
.
Departing from Graham Terminal is the MV St. Johns heading to Greenlanddom by the NW Passage. In convoy, is the SS Signal and Maersk Murmansk. That they have departed cruise ship SS Carnival is coming after two week excursion into Alaska, Yukon wildlife Preserve, Anderson River for fishing. then the return.

Thought they had all landed...
...........
Unfortunately Chris there is no international airspace between Karmanaskis and NC!
At points on the East side of Karma above the water channel with NC, there is only a few KM separating the two.
The main commercial water navigation the inside passage (Johnstone Strait-Discovery Passage-Strait of Georgia) passes completely within Karma territory in the Northern section.

Karma is on high alert, unsure of the actions/intentions of NC over the last week.
Orders have been given to fire at will on any NCAF trying to enter Karmanaskis. The order still stands!

As the four F-16 pass to the SE of Port Laurel (Port Hardy) they are engaged by two missiles each. Four almost directly below (flight time minimal) and four from a site several miles to the SW of them (flight time 10-12 sec).

The missiles close in at about 4,000 MPH and are more maneuverable. Two aircraft receive a RWR alarm from the missiles from the SW but the auto countermeasures are ineffective, both are starting to maneuver when hit. The other two aircraft are both hit still flying straight and level.

4 Vipers down!

There a boundary between nations in the close proximity to each other. Check out: Slovakia and Italy, EE and Turkey, Greece and Turkey, Turkey and Lebanon, Israel n Egypt, Iran-Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabia-Iraq, Qatar -Iran, Qatar-Saudi Arabia, Haiti -Dominican Republic, etc. I will not look up 50 more examples.
.
38 SLAM ground attack missiles hit the capital of Karmanaskis, killing top 14 leaders and 47 of the top 59 in government leadership. Disable all radar, communication facilities that transmits more than 10 watts. F-16 attack in 2 coincided waves, firing Phoenix missile at bunkers not destroyed, command buildings, hit petro facilities, power stations and electric grid. AH-1 Cobtas came in taking out 28 tanks: T-90, K-1/2, and 17 AIFV.
Harpoons hitting ships in dock area and all that were sliding out. 6 U-212 sealed harbors., Sea Lynx carries Mk -46 dropping on 2 Porpoises unmanned subs. 5 U-214 tracking any commercial ships including MV vehicle carriers.
.
Karmanaskis applied definition of insanity, paid the price, pay the grim reaper.

Moresby Island, Military Drill
Conducting a drill to test ability and readiness of the Great Graham Army, in this case to deploy to meet a threat from Karmanaskis and the evil KDF.
M109 batteries deployed on southern portion of Moresby Isle, into firing position. Leopard C1 (from used stock from ‘old’ Canada) and Leopard 1A5. Infantry units deployed in M113. The plan is to stay the weekend, prepare positions for defense of the island.
The only helicopters were transport/cargo.
.
From Great Graham Island, a practice attack 340 miles out to sea was conducted, One air wing flew CAP, another flew anti-ship attack profile. The third wing flew ground attack and Wild Weasel profiles. Improvements are needed in each phase.

Great Graham Great Air Force
The GGGAF sent out and E-2 Hawkeye out towards Karma Island group to detect the events of the island, focusing on the military and political situation. Flew no closer than 20 NM away, flying to the north and west of the Karma territory. The plane returned.

Graham and Eski
Both countries have flown electronic surveillance aircraft out and around Karma Island group. Flights up and around KK ( Krazy Karma) by E-2, P-3 have continued. Usually only one a day, there have been 3 days when a P-3 flight has gone around Karma 4-5 times with their endurance.
Radar data collect has been building, more electronic emissions every few days over the last 10-12 days.
Initially, two surveillance radars from shore, both on hill tops. One in northern area and the other in the south. There have been other weaker acquisition radars on periodically. They have changed wave lengths periodically. So there are probably mobile radars involved, might all be mobile or some in fixed positions.
There has been a frigate or picket of some sort on the north coastal area of Karma. Usually air search and surface search radars on.
. Most recently a frigate about 50 km with NAV, surface and air search radars on. The Fire control radars engaged including the targeting radar which was turned off after 15 seconds. It’s on picket duty, certainly letting us know it is there and ready if need be. That FC radar directs the HQ-7 SAM.
. Some other notes: Surveillance radar 64N6E2 (mobile) active on 2 sites, some use of 30N64E2 engagement radar noted. Other emissions from P-15 radars (for S-125 and SAM 6 units) noted mostly on the West shore of the Karma. S-125 and SAM 6 sites are known to be all over Karma so it is possible that most training is done in the Western areas and the active sites are connected to an integrated air defence picture.
Data and information sent to ROD, NC, and PRNW. No other nation has claimed to have communication with KK, pardon me, Karma.

Grear Graham
Send out two missile boats on patrol south toward Van.Ilse. Out in the Pacific. Keeping eye open over their left shoulder, Van.Isle. Crew keeping Air & Surface search radars on on lookout for KDF.

In the morning, E-2 Hawkeye flys out to Karma Island West, staying 15-20 NM from shore including a reef/sand bar that sometimes breaks the surface. Detect ROD ships, aircraft also flying around.
Karma radars were off from northern hilltop, then seemed to be from a different location by 80 feet, Not sure if it is mobile only, if the one detected the last several weeks is mobile and this fixed location or vis-a-versa. Then southern radars flipped on.
Afternoon flight 737 AEW Wedgetail flys by on similar path as the E-2 earlier in the day.

E-2 from Graham out for the daily drive to visit Karma.
Heading to the south-Eastern portion of the Karma Isle. Conducting normal evaluation of electronic emissions. Radio chatter is slow, we think they are consuming too much of there product.

Graham Island
It sends out P-2 patrol aircraft to circle Karmanaskis, listening out for any aggressive intent. It has been more calm the last two months. The number of patrol flights might be reduced. The discussions will continue.

Did see this DD heading towards Karmanaskis Island from Vancouver or PRNW.

Drones did pick training going on in Karmanaskis.
