Shouldn't the thread be called 2021-22?
The topic creator should be able to rename the thread. Failing that, maybe a PM to a mod or admin?

I’ve put my mind to what I’d really like, and come up with the below list:

Cold War/Vietnam - Australia
M113AS1 – M113 as used in Australian service from Vietnam until mid 2000’s
International ACCO – 2.5t GST 4x4 Truck used by Australia during Vietnam war and up until late 1980’s
Australian Infantry – As seen in Vietnam – infantry in jungle greens with SLR, bush hat and light-order kit. Also suitable for Bush Wars, SADF or tropical British.

Cold War/Vietnam - Israel
MAR-290 – 290mm Multiple Rocket Launcher mounted on either a Sherman or Centurion hull. The Sherman launcher was a steel framework around the launcher, whereas the Centurion had tubes mounted. I’d prefer the Sherman mount, but I’m easy
M4 Sherman Ambutank – Either HVSS with the raised superstructure, or VVSS M4A1 with rear doors. Again, I’m easy
M38A1 – Light 4x4 vehicle used for recce or as a weapons platform. Ideally would see release in a similar form to the Willys or Mutt packs with a split of MG cars and 106mm RCL cars. Also saw extensive use with the US, NATO forces and Iran amongst others.
Makmat 120mm – 120mm mortar mounted on a M3 halftrack
Soltam M-66 – 160mm mortar mounted on a M4 Sherman chassis
M107 self-propelled gun – 175mm SPG. Also saw extensive use with the US, NATO forces and Iran amongst others.
M110 self-propelled gun – 203mm SPG. Also saw use with the US, NATO forces and Iran amongst others.

Cold War/Vietnam - Soviet/WarPac
IS-3M – Soviet post-war heavy tank. Saw combat use with Egypt during the Six Day War
122mm M-30 howitzer – Soviet howitzer with appropriate tow (Zil-157?)
152mm D-1 howitzer – Soviet howitzer with appropriate tow (Zil-157?)

There's undoubtedly more, and I haven't even touched Ultra-Modern but I'll come back once I've had a chance to look over my TO&E and see what's missing.

Well, the last one ran from June, 2019 to June, 2020, so, no. But if you want to sponsor it next year, or even a different one in this year, nobody is stopping you. It started in 2020 and runs through o/a Jun, 2021. It feeds the 2021 list or maybe even the next one. I waited a decent time for someone else to start a list. Nobody did. You are welcome to it next year and may call it what you like. I am old and might not even be around by then, so das machts nichts.

Adding...

US -Jeep Wrangler, open top, no doors.

US - Jeep Gladiator.

In a conflict, off-the-shelf civilian vehicles would supplement purpose-built military ones to perform some missions. The Jeep products would do in a pinch.

Only thing worse than a 2LT with a map and compass was a 2LT with a map, compass, and a Davy Crockett.

I've worked for a couple battalion commanders who were no better.

I've worked for and with many people in the military and out of it who were no better. perhaps not quite as good as a brand new 2LT with map and compass and no scratches on his bar. Hopefully, I am on the better side of quality than the brand new 2LT...

I'm proud to say that I never got lost as a 2LT. Nope. Not me. I waited until I was a 1LT to get lost! Fortunately I was all by myself and no one ever knew I was missing. A result of several very bad decisions on my part!

The only time I got lost was my first trip to Hohenfels. I got lost so much then I found myself saying "Oh, I know exactly where I am! I've been lost here before!". Never got lost anywhere else, and never on any subsequent trips. If you can navigate at night at Hohenfels, you can navigate anywhere. And yep, I was a 1LT, too. Spent my 2LT time at Knox.

SWEDEN Stridsvagn 103B, version with dozer blade (aka "S-Tank"). Alternatively do the 103C, all of which had dozer blades.

P.S. Fix the thread title!!!

The wish list thread is running this year, 2020, through June of next year, 2021. We are wishing this year and half of next to influence the products to be produced in 2021 to 2022. I'm not changing it. I've pole vaulted over this mouse turd enough and will not sponsor next year's thread.

You can start your own wish list thread anytime and call it what you want.
