Hello guys ! 8)

While waiting for news release that should be coming soon… :
here is my « TOP 20 » wishes for the WWII 2021-22 list : (maybe it give few ideas to GHQ team ….)

BRITISH WWII
- British Sherman ARV. (because we have no ARV for british armored units…)
- British Humber FWD, 4x4 heavy utility/Staff car. (very common in many UK HQ units)
- British 15cwt Morris water tank truck. (very common in many UK companies and present in many UK units)
and, to complete definitively the awesome UK 79th armored division assaut materials line from GHQ (we already have « Kangaroo » #2, LVT-2, LVT-4, LVT4 w/polsten gun, Churchill crocodile, Sherman CRAB, Sherman DD, Sherman Flail) :
- Churchill tank AVRE w/fascines
- Churchill tank AVRE Small Box Girder (to be lighter for the miniature, the assaut bridge part could be made in resin or in photo etched parts) (two bridges deployed + two Churchill AVRE in the pack and maybe one or two assaut bridges fold in tracted position)
- Kangaroo #1 (on M7 « Priest » hull, very interesting from Normandy to automn british actions)
- UK armored dozer "Caterpillar" engineer

US ARMY WWII
- US dozer "Caterpillar" engineer + 20ton semi-trailer to carry it, with a prime mover
(the prime mover could be GHQ Diamond 6x6 Hv truck or the beautiful GHQ Treadway Corbitt 6t truck, very common in engineer units and could complete definitively the awesome GHQ «US engineers CC »).
- "Bailey bridge", engineer bridge, (few sections) (use everywhere with US & GB forces during WWII)

RUSSIAN WWII
- Russian M 1937 type, 152mm long artillery gun, (tracted and deployed version) with a new heavy prime mover. (a must have for collector or gamers with a russian army)(this gun was use on few heavy german arty batteries the atlantic wall too)
- Russian Heavy artillery prime mover “Komintern” or “Voroshilovez”. (a must have for collector or gamers with a russian army)
- Russian ISU-122 S (with muzzle brake on the gun, the same as IS2 Heavy tank)

GERMAN WWII
- German Sdkfz 251/3 ausf.D (very good for Pz.Gr. Battalion HQ, late war 44/45)
- German Sdkfz 251/17 ausf.D late version of the 20 mm AA gun (late version with the very small armored turret inside the hull)
- One German Field kitchen horse drawn + two or three generic horse drawn wagon in the pack (small russian/german civilian model with one horse use by german forces for example). (very good to complete GHQ « horses drawn wagon » pack, and because we have to remember that most of the german infantry divisions or Volks.gr.Div. were equiped with horses until the end of WWII !)
- German Engineers heavy trailers (very good for bridge engineer units. Prime mover could be SdKfz 7 8t or a new heavy truck model miniature)
- German heavy AA truck Bussing Nag w/armored cab, mount 3,7cm Flak, and w/flak ammo trailer. (maybe three trucks in the pack + 3 ammo trailers)
- German Opel Blitz truck 3t, late war model, without tarpaulin.
- Heavy german engineers bridge « brucko » with Sdkfz 7, 8t halftracks (or hv trucks) and few heavy engineer trailors. (maybe in a combat command)
- Me.323 "Gigant" (Hv transport plane with engines, for eastern front) in a combat command. (2 « gigant » in resin, with the nose separate (it could be in open or close position), wheels and wings in pewer to equilibre the weight of the model on the front)

My « TOP 8 » VIETNAM 2020-21 list :

- US M54 5ton 6x6 Heavy utility truck (special Vietnam aera : without tarpaulin !) (very good for US convoys ! and very good base for hv armored trucks… later).
- US M54 tractor-trailer truck with semi-trailer (flat semi-trailer without load) (for transportation btn, because It would be awesome if we could play road truck convoys missions in Vietnam aera and ambushes)
- NVA individual infantry « assault sappers ».
- US « Chinook », vietnam version (differents air filters and different rear tail design than actual GHQ Chinook).
- US Ford Mutt with Tarpaulin.
- US 3/4t M37 small truck.
- Russian light truck GAZ-63 4x4.
- US riverine boat ATC program 5 (with new larger standart helipad) (we already have « program 4 » from GHQ, so it would be great to have « program 5 » to play late riverine battles)

Others ideas
WWII :

US 90mm M2 Antiaircraft guns (fire & tracted positions, with 6t truck corbitt without tarpaulin as prime mover)
LVT(A)4 waterline.
LVT(A)1 waterline.
LVT-4 w/Polsten waterline
German Sdkfz 251/16 ausf.D (Flamm thrower) (very good for late war : 1944-45)
German Tiger « Ferdinand » (for Kursk 1943 ; we have « elephant » but no « ferdinand »)
Heavy truck Diamond T 980 (M 20) & M9 trailer Rodger 45 ton.
UK Hamilcar heavy Glider (for heavy air landing with Horsa gliders)

Cold war :
US M35 medium truck 6x6 without tarpaulin. (for vietnam and cold war)
US Cobra helo, (the right model for vietnam war)
LVTR1A1. (LVTP-5 base)
LVTE1 (engineers) (very good to reproduce "Apocalypse now" assault scene  )
US light helo « Sioux ».
North Korean infantry 1950.

Accessories packs :
- drum cans (for fuel depot) (WWII)
- furnitures & ammo boxes. (for depot) (WWII & « cold war »)
- PSP plates on large sheet styrene or resin (on every military airfields or bases during WWII, Korean, Vietnam,...)
- rails sections

Pibber.

I’ve added a couple of things to my earlier list (and reproduced the whole thing here for good measure).
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Ultra-Modern - Australia
Hawkei PMV – 4x4 light armoured vehicle used in various recon, command and transport roles
G-Wagon 6×6 Surveillance Reconnaissance Vehicles (SRV) – 6x6 open top variant of the G-Wagon used as by recon and SOF forces – Modern replacement for the venerable Land Rover Perentie

Ultra-Modern - Russia
KamAZ-63968 Typhoon-K – 6x6 MRAP (Armoured bus)
KamAZ-53949 Typhoon-L – 4x4 MRAP
URAL-63095 or URAL-63099 Typhoon – 6x6 MRAP

Cold War/Vietnam - Australia
M113AS1 – M113 as used in Australian service from Vietnam until mid 2000’s
International ACCO – 2.5t GST 4x4 Truck used by Australia during Vietnam war and up until late 1980’s
Australian Infantry – As seen in Vietnam – infantry in jungle greens with SLR, bush hat and light-order kit. Also suitable for Bush Wars, SADF or tropical British.
Series 2/3 Land Rover – LWB – Soft-top 4x4 used as a troop carrier by the UK, Australia and all manner of other forces.
Series 2/3 Land Rover – SWB – Open-top 4x4 used as a gun-car and recce vehicle by the UK, Australia and all manner of other forces. Mixed pack – ½ with 106mm RCL and half with soft top.

Cold War/Vietnam - Israel
MAR-290 – 290mm Multiple Rocket Launcher mounted on either a Sherman or Centurion hull. The Sherman launcher was a steel framework around the launcher, whereas the Centurion had tubes mounted. I’d prefer the Sherman mount, but I’m easy
M4 Sherman Ambutank – Either HVSS with the raised superstructure, or VVSS M4A1 with rear doors. Again, I’m easy
M38A1 – Light 4x4 vehicle used for recce or as a weapons platform. Ideally would see release in a similar form to the Willys or Mutt packs with a split of MG cars and 106mm RCL cars. Also saw extensive use with the US, NATO forces and Iran amongst others.
M3 Halftrack with SS11 – M3 halftrack with SS11 ATGM mounted on enclosed roof
Makmat 120mm – 120mm mortar mounted on a M3 halftrack
Soltam M-66 – 160mm mortar mounted on a M4 Sherman chassis
M107 self-propelled gun – 175mm SPG. Also saw extensive use with the US, NATO forces and Iran amongst others.
M110 self-propelled gun – 203mm SPG. Also saw use with the US, NATO forces and Iran amongst others.

Cold War/Vietnam - Soviet/WarPac
BRDM-1 – Soviet post-war recce vehicle. Saw extensive use throughout WarPac and Arab forces before the introduction of the BRDM-2
2P26 – Early Soviet ATGM 4x4. Saw combat use with Egypt during the Six Day War
IS-3M – Soviet post-war heavy tank. Saw combat use with Egypt during the Six Day War
122mm M-30 howitzer – Soviet howitzer with appropriate tow (Zil-157?)
152mm D-1 howitzer – Soviet howitzer with appropriate tow (Zil-157?)

I've been painting WW2 individual Italian infantry in their European uniforms with summer/spring bases. It occurred to me that any winter East Front actions or in the Balkans in snowy conditions they'd look a little out of place. My suggestion: Italian infantry in greatcoats. They would look a lot better on a snowy base.

David Letterman’s Top 10 Cold War vehicle or weapon system that GHQ has not produced From the Home Office in Peoria Illinois…….here you go ………

Number 10- The short tube M110 8” Howitzer . …..If you got the M-109 short tube version, then why not? Of course you can do what I did and cut down the tube of the A2 version .
Number 9- The non-tracked Rapier Air Defense missile system……….an awesome pack with say…….two launchers, Land Rover transports and maybe a Blindfire radar .
Number 8 - The Abbot SPG - The NATO fire support world doesn’t always revolve around the M-109.
Number 7- The M-54 5 ton Truck…….I’ve been ** CENSORED ** about this one for over 15 years . The five ton that GHQ is a hybrid between the BMY M925 and the AM General M809 series trucks . I leave the details out. The M54 appears in many armies and many conflicts since 1954.
Number 6 - As with several previous posts ……….The M38 jeep !
Number 5 - (I know ……another Brit) The FV 180 Armored Engineer Vehicle …….If they can come out with the M-9 ACE, this should be a slam dunk .
Number 4 - The M 730 Tracked Chapparal . - This has been a big gap in the inventory over the years . It’s very hard to get ahold of this model from the “other guys “, especially since they are no longer in business . It’s ok guys…..you can tell me ……you probably used the M-548 and called your Chap batteries in travel roadmarch mode with the tarps up and over the cab and launchers and called it good . It’s ok …..it’s what I did.
Number 3 - The towed Vulcan - A real big gap in the inventory. I couldn’t ever come up with a decent kitbash for this , so being able to have a “real” one would be a real plus
Number 2 - The Wesel - Cmon guys……that’s been the busiest little vehicle in the Bundeswehr since the wall came down . Trying to kitbash one using the old British MkIV tankett and the 20mm gun off the 6x6 VAB just can’t cut it .
And finally ……….Numero Uno ( drum roll) …………The AH-1F Cobra …. Ok …I’ve preached on this one for a while . The Q model was a good balance when it was introduced over 35 years ago by GHQ . It was close enough to the G model for Vietnam scenarios while at the same time having the TOWs for the Central Front and the Iran-Iraq War . But I think since we have the Whiskey model for the Marines, the Foxtrot ECAS version is needed to go with the Bradley’s, Abrams and D model Kiowa Warriors .
There you have it folks ………

We need UK ‘B’ class destroyers, so I can paint HMS Beagle, that’s just something that needs to happen, lol.

I assume you mean the "B" class destroyers of 1930 rather than the Beagle-class of 1910. I will enter your votes for the following items into the Consolidated Micronaut Wish List:
- WWII UK destroyer "A" and "B" classes, pre-war appearance
- WWII UK destroyer "A" and "B" classes, early-war modifications
- WWII UK destroyer "A" and "B" classes, late-war conversion to anti-submarined escort

Good call! The VBMR Griffon by GHQ is stunning, and the Jaguar is just round the corner. Really the 4x Serval is a must!

GHQ seems to do a decent job of covering a vehicle family once they get around to it, so I'm hopeful.

Plan to pick up VBMR Griffon once the Jaguars are avail to order.

I was planning on using the Griffon alongside some ERC-90 and Iveco 4x4 for an Imagi-Nation cavalry force. Maybe I'll wait for the Serval and go full French
