Purchase Limit

Post by piersyf »

Hi all. I previously posted that I was unable to complete an order to GHQ, with the 'we can't ship certain items to your location' warning.

I removed the US bridge set, and that fixed it, so I thought the 'combat command' might have been the problem. Later on I went and added other items to the cart, and yet again, got the 'we can't ship' warning.

I then wondered if it was stock levels, so I added items to my cart and removed items, checking at what point the purchase was allowed.

End result, if I cross the $200 mark I can't make a purchase.

Anyone else noticing this?

Thanks for solving my problem! Sent emails and no response from GHQ.

Original order for $215 not allowed, $191 is OK!

Cheers

Could be a 'COVID-limit' to reduce large and valuable packages perhaps? I've had sellers in the UK tell me that their post service is imposing value limits on parcels.

Possible covid limit, but I've made 3 orders of over $500 in the last 2 months without issue, one domestic and and 2 from Taiwan. It could also be to share the workload for GHQ staff as they get back up to speed. The order I did place is still sitting there 'unfulfilled'. Poor thing needs a life coach.

If that's the case, I get it, but it'd be nice if GHQ stated it so we can be suitably sympathetic rather than guessing what's going on. Regardless, nice to know it isn't just me.
