Q15 (worth 4 points) This is one time only we’ll never have a 4 point question in the competition again so ready? Name at least 2 areas within the Soviet Union where the SS18 missile fields were located.

A. Zhangiz-Tobe, Semipalatinsk Oblast and Derzhavinsk, Turgay Oblast. Both within Kazakhstan.

(Man, there's not much info out about these big boys!)

Q13: SS-18 Mod 1 - R-36M The SS-18 Mod 1 carried a single large reentry vehicle, with a warhead yield of 18 to 25 MT

Q12: Hotel class - as in the movie K19. Constant issues and defects. These were the Soviets first "Nukes".
