Painted a Mech Company in winter verdant MERDC. I'm not tremendously happy with the outcome although they are as we used to say "servicable." I was getting tired and rushed the black and sand and didn't really do a good job. I was trying to keep them all in the same pattern and it just didn't work out. Other issue is the wash darkened them too much. Here are a couple of examples;
The sale gave me an opportunity to order some M60A1s to round out the mixed battalion so I'll have 1 Mech Company and two Armor Companies. Some of the M60s will also do double duty as the tank sections of an Armored Cav Troop.

That is a very nice job, Cav Dog. It's late evening winter in West Germany. That's what they look like!

Very nice work, Chris. Your black and sand are too prominent. Need a finer brush.

Well done Chris! I'm still struggling with my colors but hopefully I will have something that looks pretty decent in a few days! Your tanks look great!

Yeah, I know to minimize the black and certainly the sand/tan/beige.
