I think in this case I think the acronym NVA has duel meaning:
Nationale Volksarmee Armed Forces
&
National Vision Administrators :lol:

Glad you like them!

Dan, I see on your site there’s 1/200 aircraft decals coming soon with a picture of Blood Red Skies aircraft, is there an ETA, and could you drop a hint of what you have coming?
Well... Coming Soon is a bit subjective...
I am hoping to get the first sheets posted by April. :oops:

I realize that this is about six months too late, but in response to Beagle and Flight Deck Decals discussion about something to go along with decals for K-class blimps, I suggest markings for GWG25, LZ 38 type Zeppelin.

Don S
OK. I think I have an idea. I do not have any GHQ blimps. Would someone be so kind as to post length and height of K class and Zeppelin?

Oh, by the way, for those that were waiting, the H. Kaiser deck is complete and ready for shipping. Sorry it took so long.

K-class blimps: length = 251' 8" = 76.7 m 1/2400 scale: 1.26" = 3.20 cm
diameter = 57' 10" = 17.6 m 1/2400 scale: 0.29" = 0.73 cm

P-class Zeppelin (LZ 38): length = 163.5m = 536' 5" 1/2400 scale: 6.81 cm = 2.68"
diameter = 18.7 m = 61' 4" 1/2400 scale: 0.78 cm = 0.31"

I need a sheet of these for my GHQ fuel tankers and oil tanks 😀

Got my decals from Dan via my mate Keith.

First three sheets are for my WWII Brits. The fourth sheet is for some modern(ish) Soviet helos.

11th Armoured Division

Misprint sheet of Squadron markings. Just need to avoid the circles!

1/600 Soviet Stars - some of which are really small - go figure.

Just to clarify, the misprint sheet of incorrect circles (ovels) was purchased as a know "miss print" at substantial discount.

I really should get a commission from optometrists for 1-600 decals....

Indeed they were. Apologies if I gave anyone the idea that I'd paid full price. It's always worth checking out the 'Sale & CloseOut Decals' page for a real bargain.

Not sure which is worst. Designing them or applying them. :-) As for dropping one on the carpet whilst cutting them out... :-D

I have a request...

A vehicle letter/number set in white or black for 1/285-6mm vehicles.

So something like

A11 A12 A13 A14 A15 A16
A21 A22 A23 A24 A25 A26
..
D31 D32 D33 D34 D35 D36

...up to whatever you think is prudent. I'd like a set to be able to put company/platoon/vehicle designations on my (US) force. Admittedly this might not be the standard for WWII vehicles, but this should cover the goofy US Army vehicle marking system in use for much of the cold war and at least up until the Gulf War.

My thought is if these are at the same size as other turret numbers that exist now for the Germans and Soviets it'd be ideal. Most companies/batteries rarely were more than six vehicles big, so my arbitrary numbering scheme goes to that. Happy to hear dissenting opinions (I know in the 80s some M109 units were eight guns to a battery, and MLRS batteries had nine launchers...)

I've finally gotten around painting and adding decals to some aircraft that have been on the paint rack for a couple of months.

Also added decals to some old vets:

Those aircraft look great, Cav Dog! The decals really do add to them as well.

When I was painting aircraft for GHQ, I remember doing a lot of cutting and pasting to get the various numbers and sometimes other markings that I needed.
