WWII Aircraft

Post by pvt64 »

I believe that I had a post for my WWII Aircraft collection, but I cannot find it now. So I'm starting a new thread.

12/6/20: So as I randomly paint stuff off of the painting pile I completed a Royal Navy Swordfish floatplane. The model is from Shapeways and its pictures may be found under the Commonwealth tab.

Tom, your planes look great, especially the float plane, Swordfish.
Very nice.

Great looking aircraft Tom! Do you have any particular scenario going on for your WW2 planes? I see a lot of ANZAC aircraft in your collection!

Thanks Chris and Redleg. Redleg, I've been interested in the Pacific theatre since I was a kid so that was were I started.

12/11/20: Finished the last of the WWII aircraft that I currently have in house. Pictures of my Italian CA. 314s may be seen under the Italian Section under the "more" tab. These models are from Shapeways.

Well done Tom! The cam on your Italians is great. I don't think I would even attempt that pattern at this scale! You need some new planes to paint so you can keep the pictures coming!

Chris and Redleg thank you so much for the kind words. Sorry for the big delay in response Chris. Decals I obtain from I-94 Enterprises; https://raiden.25.ekm.shop/decals-26-c.asp or MSD Games; http://msdgames.com/epages/bccb46a7-1a0 ... ies/DECALS These planes are all 6mm or either 1/285 or 1/300 scale.
