Those Japanese destroyers look great, Bill! I have a fair number of all the types in my collection. A few are painted but most are not. Some of my painted ones from 20 years ago are still in the GHQ catalog. I do need to get back to painting more ships one of these days but have a lot of other irons in the fire right now.

Shame that those Japanese DD need to be sunk.

Bill,
Excellent work! Love this little cruiser. The two seaplanes really look nice on the model. I always enjoy seeing your new painting work...especially the WW2 navy ships!

Can't wait to see your next projects. Thanks again for posting your pictures.

Thanks a lot WW2! Painting ships is always rewarding, there will certainly be more soon. In the meantime, here are some aircraft I finished this morning, sorry for the crap pictures, I'm kind of in a rush.

The Noshiro looks excellent, Bill, as do your larger scale Navy aircraft as well!

Wow! Those aircraft are awesome! What scale are they? Terrific paint job and decal work!

Thanks a lot Pete and WW2! They are 1/350th from Trumpeter. The decals are generic air group markings from Starfighter Decals. Unfortunately no one makes decals for CVE air groups, so I had to live with just the basics.

Amazing work Bill! On both the ship and the aircraft! Museum quality as always!

Bill, those are so sweet!
I just finished listening to the audio book: The Pacific yesterday. I just thought I saw Lt. Mike Micheel flying his plane.

Thanks a lot Chris. Tomorrow I’m going to be decaling a batch of overall dark sea blue aircraft. That will finish the air groups for Taffy III.
