Amazing work, as always, Bill! Are these for the museum as well?

Thanks a lot Red. Yes they are, the Saturday before the anniversary of Samar, we are setting up a display/lecture of the battle.

That's a great looking tank Bill! Did you get the dirt effect along he panel lines just from a brown wash? I'm still trying to get my wash technique down so it will look that good.

Thanks a lot Red. Yes, it is a wash, made from very thinned Vallejo flat earth, and applied after the model was sprayed with gloss clear. Once the wash was dry, the excess was wiped away with a q-tip dipped in windex, not really being concerned if any smeared.

Wow great paint job and I might try your tip on the wash - it came out really good.

Bill, looks great, much better than the one at Disney World that you can see on the train ride around the park (from Indiana Jones).
Nice work.

Beautiful ship Bill! I have a couple destroyers, and knowing how tiny they are I am always amazed at how you can bring the detail out on them!

Thanks a lot Red. Its all in the wash and the dry brushing to make the detail pop out.

And USS White Plains.

Great looking carrier Bill! I know you do a lot of work for your museum, ut do you keep a tally of how many ships you have painted in total?
