Thanks a lot Chris, thanks Red! I do have lists for the US and RN by class, and I one line ships as I paint them, that way I don’t accidentally paint the same ship twice, but I’ve never actually counted. So short answer no, I have NO idea how many I’ve painted.

Great work on the Midway, Bill! It is nice to have a ready made deck decal for it. I remember painting the one for the GHQ catalog and having to cut and paste things together to get the right numbers and the deck lines.

Thanks a lot Pete! FDDs do make all the difference, carriers wouldn’t look nearly as clean without them. Even the smaller ships are looking better with every new release.

Some pictures from the Battle off Samar display. Set up at approximately 0850, about the time the Japanese were about to retire.

Thanks a lot Chris. This actually wasn’t a game, it was a diorama for a presentation.

Wow dude - that is a very impressive setup! Very educational too! What do the different color markers represent?

Thanks a lot Red. Most navies use to add dye to shells to aid in spotting splashes to adjust aiming. It was especially useful before fire control radar. I also use those splash markers instead of the markers GHQ provided to mark straddles when I play Micronauts.
