Awesome glider! I like the nose up position. I paint my stripes and they don’t look bad but not great. Those details really do make a difference. Do you plan on painting a field full of gliders? Every time I order from GHQ, I throw in a Waco glider. Eventually I want to have a field full of them!

Thanks a lot Burt! I don't plan on painting a whole lot of gliders, maybe a couple, but you never know! I just kind of wanted to have one just as a display piece. I am working on C-47 right now that will have invasion stripes on it, but that is an off and on project. In the future I want to build a Horsa as well.

Great looking wrecker Bill! It looks like it's seen lots and lots of miles!

Great looking wrecker … except it’s dirty, the star is covered in dirt. Go wash that truck!

Thanks a lot guys. I figure a well used tow truck ought to have some schmutz on it. I’ve read a lot over the years about troops in Normandy smearing mud on the stars make them less visible.

Wow Bill that wrecker looks spot on. One sign of a master painter, to me, are the tires. Bear with me for a moment… but when you get the rims on the tires painted just right, where the tire is inside the rim even at that minute level of detail, that level of care and skill is really something. Impressive work.

I just picked up two more Waco gliders in the sale. I have a few horsa gliders as well. But I really wish GHQ would make a Hamilcar glider. Found some from another source, but I know GHQ would make a much better one…

That is excellent work on the Canberra, Bill! I have lots of currently unpainted American and Japanese ships for the ** CENSORED ** campaign which I think is one of the really interesting WWII naval campaigns.

Thanks a lot Pete, thanks Chris!

Pete, have you read the Guadalcana*l-Solomons trilogy by Jeffery Cox? If not, they are excellent.

That's a beautiful looking ship Bill! Is that one museum bound?

Already there! I’m actually getting ready to start some pretty big displays that are going to belong to the museum, so that’s going to be the last of my ships to go that way for a while. I’m going to be busy.

I've been slacking off on painting minis recently, been focusing on my plastic models, and the weather has been nice-ish, so I've been playing outside, lol.
