King Lear’s nephew Sheik Yer Bouti, II is trying to build the country back to where it was a year ago before the evil West Sahara, ,Moroccodom and others have impoverished the people of Yer Bouti. This must end, the dignity of man requires redress.

Yer Bouti is an enclave on the North Western African coast.
Somewhat of an oddity it is often overlooked or missed off completely from modern maps.
Sitting within what is now the Western Sahara (Greater Bouti) the enclave was used as a port in the 1700's but was never favored by the colonial powers at the time.
At that time the area was never seen as having that much to offer and was pasted over by Spain and most others.
Some mid east influence made its way to the area and surprisingly British from the late 1700's.
The Duke of Southend-on-sea sailing to the new World with many women on-board got lost and was shipwrecked.
Many survived and stayed despite the harsh environment but they effected the local dialect, this hindered trade with the rest of region.
Displaced Sheikh's from the East and girls from Southend with their wisdom left it's mark on the area.
Some say this held back development of Yer Bouti for hundreds of years.

Marginal land on a small coastal plain around an inlet.
Rugged almost impassable highlands in the North and desert to the East.
There is history of a Sheikhdom from 1820 until today ruled almost continuously by the Zappa Clan.

The general area is disputed by Moroccodom a member of the Commonwealth of Chrisdom.

Armed Foces overview.
Yer-Bouti has a smaller military than its neighbors. However, its security stops against foreign incursions. In reforming the Yer-Boutian Army, most of the available attention and financial resources have been directed to the development of the Land Forces. Clashes with the rebel and CofC forces, in 2008, demonstrated the superior nature of the Yer-Boutian forces training and skills, but also highlighted the fact that the small military would be unable to counter the larger, if less well-motivated forces of its neighbours.

The fight against the Al-Kabab has at least temporarily swelled the ranks of the Yer Bouti army, with retired personnel being recalled, but the military’s size and capabilities are much reduced since the 1990s. As a result of tensions with neighbors during the 1980s and early 2002, the Yer Bouti Army refined existing strategic concepts and eventually formulated a plan to restructure its forces. Though wars were avoided, the threats from the 1980s and 2008 encouraged the army to address more effectively its major defense disadvantage: lack of strategic depth. Thus in the early 2000s it looked outward for a model of army organization that would best advance defensive capabilities by restructuring forces into smaller, more mobile units instead of traditional divisions.

Organization.

Feb 2018 its main known units are:

One armoured regiment (YB City, comprising a reconnaissance squadron, three armoured squadrons
Four infantry regiments (each comprising infantry/militia companies and a support company)
One rapid reaction regiment (comprising infantry companies and a support company)
One Guard regiment (YB City)
One artillery regiment (YB City)
One AA company
One Engineer/demining company
One signals regiment
One computer and information systems section
One logistics regiment
One maintenance company
Five PMU's (Militia, Popular Mobilization Units) one in each tribal land.

Yer Bouti,
With the civil unrest, the economic hardships for Yer Bouti and its citizens the Police Dept of Yer Bouti City is on patrol around the city. Here are a few vehicles.

They seem to be ready for unrest. There are many citizens upset that The Sheik Yer Bouti I, and his government stole the funds in the treasury and the oil royalties. The Sheik Yer Bouti III, is working to establish Rule of Law and providing the framework to provide economic opportunities.
