Well, I had some painted minis laying around when then d%&* cat jumped up on my table in the basement and did its best Godzilla rendition through my minis. Happened last year, cleaned it all up and about 7-8 minis are now missing their turrets. Like the little itty bitty turrets. T70s got hit hardest, and I could not find three turrets... Thus the BM-8-24 Katyusha kit bash (in real life it was on a T60 hull but this is close enough for me and salvages them to some degree, plus I like the thought of this kit bash). The BM-8-24 was around in the earlier years of the war, not sure how effective it was. I made one in the "down" position to reflect a disabled unit. I simply took the Katyusha GHQ model and used the mount, plus shortened the rocket rails.

Very nice work on those, Burt! A most unusual vehicle to be sure.

Looks good, way to make use of a bad situation. Is the cat still with us?

Re: BM-8-24 Kit Bash
Thanks y’all! Cat is still alive - barely - and I had to move the painting table upstairs.
