Stuff GHQ DOES NOT make
Young son currently printing two MBT70 battalions for me. Phrozan resin printer, black transparent resin, Abe's stl file posted on thingieverse. 8hour print time. XM723 follows in next print window. Really pleased with results.

Re: Stuff GHQ DOES NOT make
I doubt you need to know as much as he explained to me about how it works when I asked. It prints upside down by dipping the mask in the resin repeatedly, curing each layer between dips. I think the result is a tad small, but it's adjustable. Have to get my Hunnicutt book out for measurements.

The hull should be about two feet shorter than the M1and that's about what it is, so no adjustments need be made.

Thought I'd 'borrow' your thread Panzergator as it's title seems appropriate. I've just ordered a few things from a new(ish) UK-based company 2d6 Wargaming. Namely 4 ersatz M10 Panthers, a company's worth of WW2 Soviet Naval Infantry, some female medics and snipers, and finally a Soviet Political Officer strip. No links to their site of course but here's a link to a Youtube review video of some of their stuff. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6rfKoy9tXn4

Borrow away. Almost everything I have is GHQ, so my loyalty should not be questioned. And there are a couple folks who have been buying from them longer, but I've been buying from them since 1978. What's more, there are still things I need to buy from them.
But if they won't make it...

Re: Stuff GHQ DOES NOT make
I guess I'm pretty much the opposite - the vast majority (95%+) of my stuff is Heroics & Ros and Scotia - purely based on price to be honest. The remaining 5% (or there about) of vehicles is mostly GHQ with a few CinC M6 GMCs and Pak 97/38s. Aircraft-wise the non-H&R/Scotia are all Raiden (mostly bought when they were still a UK based company).
I turn to GHQ, C-in-C etc. if the first two don't do a model or if (IMO) their model isn't 'up to scratch'.
...or don't yet. Sometimes you just need the model now regardless of quality. Although that said, I do need some M52 SPGs for my Jordanians and the only manufacturer that I know that does them is Irregular Miniatures (another UK-based company) and I don't like their sculpts. But if they won't make it...

Yea, no choice but the 3D stuff. Found that there's other places to get some items that cheaper then shapeways.

Re: Stuff GHQ DOES NOT make
Yeah, I presumed so - there's quite a bit on Shapeways I'd like but I can't really justify the expense. Of course, if I win the lottery or an unknown rich relative dies...

Re: Stuff GHQ DOES NOT make
I sprang for 6 GOERsfor my sample M60A1 mid-70s H series tank battalion (and now, the price is $15.50) for TWO, and for that you get only ONE fueler. I'm just not going to pay that. I have relented and ordered, through Chris, some fuelers from a 1/300 company in UK, a clearly less-satisfactory product. I'm not happy about it, but it's the best I can do at the moment.

Re: Stuff GHQ DOES NOT make
This is what I am using a 3D printer for.
I wanted 3 Hobart class type destroyers.
This is my composite approach to get what I want.
3D printed hull and then plastic card and crazy glue kitbash.
Still not GHQ standard but will pass at a foot or two.
