Lookin good Gazza! Great looking vehicles!

For those of you modeling a series-H ADA battalion I finally received a reply back from bills models on Shapeways. Behold the FAAR vehicle.

There were eight sections in the Radar platoon and one Radar platoon HQ to find them and in the darkness bind them. Sorry, that was another battle fought. Anyway two packs to complete the Radar platoon.

Now if only I could find someone to design the AN/TPQ-36 & AN/TPQ-37 WLR trailers in both deployed and travel configurations. Redleg and I are standing-by with our credit cards out ready to call-in!

Damn right! I would settle for either deployed OR travel mode at this point! My goofy generator trailer Q36 mods aren't cutting it!

Besides the Hummv AN/TPQ below I have some trailers somewhere.

The M1A2C w/Trophy turret for GHQ turret stl file, which GHQ does not make, is available at Thingiverse free. Search on "M1A2C" or "1/285th scale."

Has anyone made an M548 with Volcano mine laying system? I need to make 3 of them and I am just about ready to star hacking on the cargo M548, but I'm not sure what I'm going to use for the Volcano pieces. Any ideas?

Does anybody do commission work in creating stl files? I'm messing around with tinkercad but I really suck and I would rather just pay someone to design the files for me at this point. I'm interested in Q36 and Q37 files for 3D printing.

Some of the folks on Shapeways will take commissions. Guaro is one one yeggi. You can find his email on the XM723 item. Just go to yeggi and search "XM723."

Yeggi and Thingiverse have extensive stl files for both vehicles and planes. You can search by designation or name. You can seatch also for "micro armor," "microarmor," "1/285.". You might also find other scales which can be rescaled to 1/285. There are a couple particularly useful files by bergman in 1-100 to rescale. I suggest a test print to make sure. Print 1-100 scale at 35%.

Merch there at lots of STL files for Harriers or look for AV8B on line.
GHQ also make one in both 1/285 and 1/2400 scales.

One can always just google "stl for (what you are looking for) for starters. That will get you started. I've found almost everything I want at yeggi, which brings together several resources, though not all of it is free. I expect to commission the oddball stuff I want.
