Thomas,

If he can really do a good C-17 model for 10 pounds, I'll take 6.

1/350 Resin Kit Boeing C-17A GLOBEMASTER III

Post by Peter »

The Japanese modeling company Pitroad lists this on their web site

Now Printing HMS02 NEW! 1/350 Resin Kit Boeing C-17A GLOBEMASTER III

http://www5b.biglobe.ne.jp/~pitroad/new ... witem.html

No exact issuance date, the scale is off for our use and the price is listed as Y5800, close to US$60 per copy.

They also a Lockheed P3C ORION and Tupolyev Tu-160 Black Jack.

I have built their ship models and the quality is very high.

Hi Peter,

Eastern Express makes a TU-160 in 1/288 (I have one) and Skyraider makes the P-3 in 1/300 (I have one on order). Skyraider makes a lot of aircraft that no one makes, but they haven't arrived yet, so I can't comment on the quality. (Again, nothing here that GHQ makes - though I wish they would)

They're the Skyraider guy that I posted in the link above - supposedly his own castings.

I'm only picking up things that no one else makes from him. I'm starting to put together a spreadsheet of aircraft so that I can track these darn things in the 1/270 through 1/320 scale.

I'll let you know as soon as they arrive.
