I know it’s not very s e x y, but it’s still pretty important; the Regimental HHT for 9th ACR is finally complete. Now there is someone to tell the squadrons what to do! The HHT has 136 personnel and 49 vehicles (10 tracks and 39 wheels). I’m going to keep working on the independent companies before I start on 3rd Squadron. That would be the engineer company, MI company, chemical company, and ADA battery.

Currently 9th ACR consists of the HHT, 1st Squadron, 2nd Squadron, and 2 air cavalry troops with OH-58Ds.

Just as an interesting side note, I want to call this troop the “Regimental” HHT, but I’m thinking that the correct word is “Regiment” HHT. Regimental just rolls off the tongue so much easier, but I don’t know if it’s correct. Any English teachers or cavalrymen out there that know which is correct: Regiment or Regimental?

Excellent work on your Regiment HHT, Redleg! That is quite a project you have going there. I can't wait to see more.

Thanks guys, I will keep at it. I still have a long way to go!

Yeah, my wife and I had a lengthy argument about if a tank or a howitzer could be considered s e x y or not. She was wrong.

WOW, not even sure what I wrote that got censored. LOL Yea, I am pretty sure your wife is wrong. There is a reason why men name there machines after women. Because they are s-e-x-y.

Sappers Forward! I have been working on the combat engineer company for my ACR for along time, and I finally have one of the sapper platoons done. This is a big company! It includes 3 sapper platoons and 9 bridge layers, and a bunch of other cool engineering stuff. This is my priority for the ACR at the moment. I’m trying to get the independent troop-size unit done before I go on to 3rd Squadron.

For my combat engineers, I’m putting 3 dudes on each base to differentiate them from the infantry fire teams. I think the sappers just have squads, so I haven’t done any MG teams or AT teams. Somebody please school me if this is an error.

Gentlemen, you never discuss with your wife whether or not a tank or arty piece is ** CENSORED **. SHE thinks Brad Pitt is ** CENSORED **, whereas I think he's a g**d*mned hack actor. I think an MBT70 is ** CENSORED ** and wife thinks it's a piece of scrap metal. We just don't think ** CENSORED ** alike. NEVER BRING IT UP and you won't have to sleep in your old fartsack on the back porch with your hound. Didn't you learn ANYTHING at the Armor School?
