Never Mind the Troops: How do you store your terrain?

As my terrain collection grows storing it is becoming a bigger problem. Not storing it so much as finding stuff.
How do you store your terrain so you can find the pieces you want when you lay out a table?

Hi Mark
I store my Terrain Maker in large Rubbermaid type tubs. I put all my road sections in 1 tub for easy access and have my flats in the same tub. The hills and slopes are in a separate tub. Any woods sections are stored on top so the trees don't get smooshed. My streams and rivers are in a separate tub.
I have 3 sets of Terrain Maker - 1 European Summer set, 1 European Winter set, and a Desert set for North Africa and Middle East. Fortunately, I have a large space in the garage to store these tubs.

I don't own much (any really) terrain as the club has enough for our (my) needs. Before I joined the club I did try to make my own buildings (based on an article in an ancient copy of Miltary Modelling - a UK magazine). Still got about half a dozen - all in this sort of state.
To answer the actual question though
the club uses a number of different storage systems from large metal units with drawers to plastic tubs and boxes. More photos to take on my next visit.

OK, I've finally been over to the club today, so here are the promised photos.
An overview of some of the storage drawers.
A closer look. Concentrating on the micro armour terrain.
One of the micro building drawers - pulled out at random.
Some of the larger hill/ridge sections.
A few more.

I’d love some storage drawers like that, kudos.

I normally store terrain in clear plastic bins for easy transport.

For my GHQ hexes I have large plastic bins. For the buildings I have a metal cart with drawers. Need another solution for building as I’m running out of room…
