Re: Merry Christmas
The file wouldn't download when I hit that button, but I think I figured it out. I need to download another program onto my computer to read the 3d files. Unfortunately I have just been using my work computer for a couple years and I don't have administrator rights. I guess I'll be buying new laptop tomorrow!

Re: Merry Christmas
Mike, you will soon get the hang of it and there are a few work a rounds.
Yes the file you download from most sites will be a STL (stereolithography).
This file can then be adjusted if need be by scale, infill, layer size and thickness, cut, stretched etc. There are a few free bits of software you can use to do this.
Then you will need to slice it (the same software often does this too).
You will be probably be looking to end up with a gcode file to put on a USB for most of the small printers.

Merry Christmas everyone
No GHQ this time but think I have way too many packs already…lol
As for 3D printer you need a resin since the filament can’t print the real fine detail you need. I only use the water base resin which works really well. It can easily print the antennas on the vehicles.
I don’t want to post the pictures on a GHQ site but your guys might want to join Chris’s Facebook 1/285 group.
You can see some of the vehicles I’ve been working on.

A belated Merry Christmas!
I received 4 packs of ghq micro armor along with a mat and some resin villages, among other things.

Re: Merry Christmas
Belated Christmas greetings and a Happy New Year to all.
No pewter under the tree but a most welcome last minute addition of GHQ make it before the bell at the end of 2021.
Now my Marines do not need to swim ashore and have extra fire power.
