The KDF continue to undergo significant modernisation and re-structuring to deal with potential threats and enhance their capabilities.
A network-centric warfare capability connecting different combat, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance elements to form an integrated network is being developed.
Considerable achievements have been made this week.

We are looking forward to seeing the new and improved KDF in action! Well....maybe in training because I have a feeling that the KDF is going to be even more lethal than before.

Never a dull moment with the KDF! They definitely keep the ROD on its toes!

A busy weekend but managed to get a bulk primmer and base coat on a good amount of micro armour.
Including new MBT, IFV, AFV and multiply AD systems.
Some older BMP's got a new coat to help blend in to the look KDF.

The Navy also got a bit of my time this week, so the new frigates will look more inline with the master plan.
Photos to come.

I look forward to the KDF posts. Or I may need to send a HALE (high altitude long endurance) drone over Karmanaskis for data, pictures and create mischief. The leaders of KDF picked up the blue print from Balzac Republic and Yer Bouti. Both created havoc.
Good luck to KDF.

With Diplomatic Ties now established between the POP and Karmanaskis. New Canada is looking to purchase the 12 Halifax Class Frigates that the KDF Retired recently, after the cancellation of the New Canadian Future Surface Combatant Program.

Karmanaskis has seen an early start to the wildfire season. Just as in NC, last weeks heatwave and strong winds kept the Karma authorities busy.
Assets from across our Country coordinate and cooperate when required.

Luckily Karma builds its own water bombers in house (1/600).

Nash88's K2PL was the inspiration to develop my own Karmanaskis domestic MBT.
I too ended up with a 3 man crew plus an auto-loader but went for 125mm for fun!

The KT-4 started out with 60x GHQ type 99.
My first upgraded homemade turrets became the KT-4M.
Final new up armoured hull and turret is 100% made in Karma, entering service as the KT-4M1 but known as the MK 5.
They will serve alongside the the original KT-4's.

The KDF Ground Force has rejected the 7 wheeled (Heavy) version for its MBT.
The new production vehicle will continue as an improvement and upgrade of the existing KT-4.

Also a new designation system is rolling out across the KDF this week to ease the identification of equipment.
Hence the new MBT's are now known as KT-99 and KT-99A.

Yesterday saw the start of 'Operation Stampede'.
Over the next ten days the KDF will see a complete realignment of it's organization and structure. Much work has been completed over the last several Months, full implementation will take many more.
Op Stampede will however set the new framework for the KDF moving forward. From the National Command to the service branches all the way down to the platoon level.
The adjustments are seen as essential to enable the smooth and seamless interaction between units of different size, type and service to act as one in the modern battle space.
As a part of the larger 'Plan 2025', Op Stampede is just one of many ongoing changes taking place across Karmanaskis.

News isn’t good coming out of Karmanaskis.
The East is heavily influencing Karmanaskis, and thus the KDF.
Sad state of affairs when this government sells out its people. The citizenry will realize it when it is too late.

Those are great looking vehicles! The ROD is curious to know more about this realignment effort and the new formations that the KDF is fielding. Not sure if we should be excited or alarmed at this point....maybe a little of both!

The KDF Air Force is fielding twin engine twin seat strike fighters.
Image
It is unclear if they are of Russian or Chinese origin.
However they are joining the domestically produced single engine 'Mountain Lion',
which itself seems to be influenced by the IAI Lavi or the Chengdu J-10.

I will always have some of each type in 1/285 but due to the wonders of 1/600 economics, 1 for 1 Air Force ORBAT is now possible.

Karmanaskis will return in the new year, bigger and more freedom loving than ever before.
Until then all borders will remain the same and foreign relations will remain chill and mellow.

In the middle of a house move at the moment so the pewter is packed in a sea can for a few Months.
Travel and some new projects will take up most of my time for a little while so the Imagi-Nation will be put on hold.
Fear not, Karma will return in 2024.

Mick.
