Cavdog, how are you going to get your M48A1s? At the moment, you need hulls from GHQ's M48 and the 90mm turrets from their M48A5 pack. Then you must enlarge the well for the turret pin.

I'm HOPING GHQ will release the A1 soon, WITH the 55gal drum rack for the stern.

Gator, thanks for the advice but not having your detailed knowledge of M48s, nor being as OCD as some, I misspoke and I'm planning to use standard M48s.

There's no shame in that! I'm using the new M48A3 for my '67 Israelis and Jordanians. It's not right, but they look the part on table!

I just provide the info IN CASE it makes a difference to you. I don't judge and there is no enforcement. We all work with what is available.

Your experience and insights are invaluable and I for one appreciate your expertise so please continue to push for accuracy, even when it falls on deaf ears. (Ahem, GHQ are you listening? )

Thanks. I imagine it's too expensive to make the corrections, although, in some cases, t's just a matter of changing hulls or turrets that they already make.

I don't really want to give up the turrets in the M48A5 pack because the shape is very good, and better than later models.
