It is sometimes hard to talk of war gaming in times of conflict.
The last two Months have seen massive loss and sorrow on an in human scale. Common respect and decency require careful thought, tact and understanding.
I see our hobby as very much a part of military history. A small part of trying to workout what happened and why? So long as we keep a moral distance from real current events, I think it is important to continue.
I am the first to admit it is hard to distance myself from events in Europe, I am connected. This however should not stop historical discussion and future 'what if' actions on the forum.
I have been reserved to post of late but will try to support the forum more as my time dictates.

40 years ago today (21st April 1982) the first British Forces landed on the Falklands in the conflict in the South Atlantic.
I will always remember this day. What I thought then, is not what I know now.
We should all encourage people to push pewter not steel.

Unless you study war, you can not make peace!
