New guy Tom
is looking for YOUTUBE videos of GHQ wargames. He's new to the hobby and would like to watch to get an idea how it's done. Please use this thread to respond.

Re: New guy Tom
Welcome to the forum Tom. Below are two link from a Youtube channel called little wars.
D-Day two part video
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g45XvYGBg-8&t=409s
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2QaTXazGOgk
Winter Battle of Kharkov
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUpXo9i8K6U&t=417s
I would think its less important to find a war game that uses GHQ pieces, unless you are looking for how the board is set up or something like that. The important part might be just finding a video that highlights the rules. I feel most rules could probably be used for both 6mm and 3 mm. The only difference might be ground scale. Thought I have only used it in 1 game, "FIST FULL OF TOWS" seems to be a good game. Little Wars TV does reviews of rules as well. I will look for a few more later today.

Much appreciated!
Those videos look perfect and actually very well put together.
FFTOWs is the rule set I'm leaning towards.
Mercifully I have 2 colleagues who are keen to try the game too, which is handy because the Mrs is having none of it!

P.S apologies for the slow response - its the mechanism to stop SPAM. Basically means I have to wait a while before my posts are approved while I'm 'new'.

I’m new to the forum. Very glad to be here. I’m returning to the hobby for the first time since I was a kid in the 70s. Looking forward to spending a lot of time here checking out what’s new to the hobby. Thanks for having me.
