For now I only glue the smaller turrets down. I like the ability to have the turrets rotate, plus I put them up when a vehicle is taken out. I don’t base my vehicles.

The downside: sometimes I stop painting for a few months at a time, and if I’m midway through a batch of vehicles and turrets, especially if I’m doing camouflage, I tend to forget which turrets go with it which vehicles. I’ve also had the issue of accidentally knocking over my board and losing turrets and scrambling to find them on the basement floor, and along the same lines the wife’s pet cat has jumped up on the board and dumped things. Leaning towards gluing them all down and being done with it honestly …

I like to glue down small turrets but not one like a Panther that has a long barrel that will be bent out of shape if glued down.
Don’t mind the short 75 but nothing long.

Get the best of both worlds and use Tacky Wax, It keeps all turrets in place yet allows for rotation. A little bit goes a long way.
