Soviet/Russian base color suggestions

I have far too many modern Soviet/Russian vehicles I need to paint and I decided to try spray painting them in an appropriate shade of green as a start, then dry brush/add camo colors and wash with a mud color appropriately. All have been spray primed in either white or gray.
What green spray paint to you all suggest? The Tamiya olive drabs seem too dark. Other suggestions?

I used to use the Model Master brand, for Russia I usually used Dark Green.
Still try to do that. Deep Forest Green by Rust-o-lem Camouflage.
Not a match, but best I can do for now.

I think it also depends on what (or when) you mean by 'modern'. Today? 1980s? 1960s? etc. For example here's part of leaflet from Ammo by Mig (obviously plugging their own paints).

I'm a bit old fashioned and paint all my Soviet stuff a base Humbrol 102 enamel, then acrylic 2nd coat:
