Team

A selection of four hours kicking around a shed just north of Cairns today:

Took ~160 photos. When I get home and have had a sort through, I'll probably add a link to a folder so those who are interested can have a look through.

Nice pics, thanks for sharing. :D
Did Australia field the M47 Patton, or is the museum one from an exchange? Could you post, if you have any, bigger pics of the 7th PzD Pz38 (t) I see behind the Firefly?
If I ever get the chance to travel to Australia, that place is definitely a must-see!

I second that, thanks for posting these pics. Always great to see what WWII stuff are still out there in the world.
Quantity has a Quality all its own.

As promised:

https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing

Most photos are taken without a flash. Those that are (and you can tell), show the colours closer to correct than those without. The downside is that it tended to wash the photo out, so I chose not to use it too much.

The random photos of drip trays under the backs of tanks is evidence that a lot of these tanks are still mobile. Perhaps one day I'll manage to be there when they're operating.
