My sincere thanks for your encouraging words, gentlemen!
I'm continuing with my projects, and this one is well advanced, but also somewhat far from completion : my first self*made Halsey (Sam Mustafa's Nimitz extension) scenario.

Let's start with an unlucky, but gallant and glorious ship, USS Houston, the Galloping Ghost of the Java Sea

Now, I have a question, I need some advice : I read that you can order spares from GHQ. I had a problem when I straightened the guns USS Missouri's after turret, a gun broke. I tried a fix with some evergreen, but I'm not taht happy with the result : it will show from the distance I'm used to photograph my models. So, is it possible to order spares from out of the USA (from the EU in my case)? And f so, how do i do? Thanks in advance.

Great look ships Foxbat, as usual! The smaller the ship the more impressed I am with the painting and detail work!

When I have ordered spare parts in the past I called GHQ directly by phone and explained what I needed. I once tried to order MG sprus by adding a comment to a normal order, but that didn't go anywhere. I would imagine that as long as you call during their normal business hours in Minnesota you can have spares shipped to the EU without any problems.

I don't have any WW2 battleships, but I have some spare turrets from my modern Iowa class battleships. No AA guns or anything on them, but would these work? I can just send these to you in the mail if you want them.

Redleg, this is most kind of you. They'd be better than my jury repair...

If I really cannot manage to get a replacement from GHQ, may I get back to you and take your offer?
Warmest regards.

Hi Foxbat

GHQ is very good about spare parts. Just let them know what you need.

I also wanted to say, great work on the De Ruyter and Java, Foxbat. I think I have the De Ruyter in my unpainted stash somewhere.

Pete, does it mean all I need top do is require a replacement part when I place my next order?

Hi Foxbat

GHQ has a price list for their various parts. I am not sure what the going rate is these days. You can ask for a main turret for the Missouri or whatever else you might want. There is a charge for that. I do occasionally buy extra hulls and turrets for some of my tanks.

If you have a part that is either damaged as cast or broken or missing you can ask for a replacement. That should be no charge to you.

Thanks, I just sent an inquiry message using the contact GHQ form, waiting for the reply. I'll post the news about it. :)
