This has me somewhat worried.
I live in France, and unfortunately it looks like the EU will enforce some restrictive regulations on products made in other countries. It looks like it will be complicated to do with the red tape, especially for small businesses likr I imagine GHQ is, or worse even, for most figure makes who are cottage industry very often...

I'd like to know if you are aware of this at GHQ. I did a fairly big order for black Friday this year, hopefully it won't be my last as I don't know how to get through all this to get my models.

"Antiques, such as works of art or collectors’ items are specific categories of products which cannot be expected to meet the safety requirements laid down by this Regulation, and should therefore be excluded from its scope. However, in order to prevent other products from being mistakenly considered as belonging to those categories, it is necessary to take into account that works of art are products created solely for artistic purposes, that collectors’ items are of sufficient rarity and historical or scientific interest to justify their collection and preservation, and that antiques, if they are not already works of art or collectors’ items or both, are of an extraordinary age. When assessing whether a product is an antique, such as a work of art or a collector’s item, Annex IX to Council Directive 2006/112/EC (13) could be taken into account."

For me GHQ definitely hits the mark as "works of art" and "collectors items of sufficient rarity and historical or scientific interest to justify their collection and preservation".
Just try to find some of the new issued models in Canada as evidence of the rarity.

Failing that I would just take the standard action on the EU and ignore it until it becomes a problem and then ignore it with extreme prejudice!
They cannot stop or track the illicit movement of full size MBT's or other such items much less ones 1/285 the size.
I do not doubt the ability of Brussels to build a brand new bureaucracy from scratch to counter the menace of the pewter trade. Still first they have to hire staff and train them to ID a FV432 from a Lada (can be difficult) and then decide in which of the 27 Countries to build their headquarters.

I think we have some time.

I wouldn't be that concerned for GHQ, as they do have a supplier in thr EU (Masters of Military), so I'm sure they would be able to work something out.

I'm more concerned about Flight Deck Decals (and others). I'm hoping those will still be available in the EU.

I ordered some stuff from GHQ at the beginning of the month to enjoy the discount, they were in the mailbox today. And I'd placed an order with Flight Deck Decals as well, it was in the mail as well. Without, lo & behold, any customs fees. Just don't tell EU customs about it !
