Paul's Corner

I'm back!!! Fourth or Fifth time's a charm. With my son finally out of college, and retirement approaching soon, I find that I have time to get back to my roots. I've gotten a new workshop with new toys (resin and fdm printers) and have begun again.
So I'ld like to start off with what I just finished last month. This is my Pz38t company for BARBASOSSA.
Some close ups.
Company HQ:
Second Platoon:
Third Platoon
Fourth Platoon (Pz II's)
1st Platoon was sent off to secure some woods, so I did not get any shots of them.
It's good to be back.

Welcome back, thanks for sharing. Very nice early panzers, 7th PzDiv if I'm not mistaken? Spot on on the panzer grey.

Paul, amazing work. Thanks for posting more inspiration for me to work toward. Two questions
1. What brand and color for panzer grey?
2. Method for application of aerial recognition on the back of tank.

Paul - Nice work there. Good panzer gray color and great detailing. Like Hoth, I'm also interested in how you handled the aerial recognition flags. I have an ongoing Pz 2 project and I'm considering putting a flag on a Pz 2 rear deck.
Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Thanks, guys. It's good to be back.
Pete & Redleg: Thanks so much.
Foxbat, yes 7th Panzer.
Hoth & Begemot: Panzer grey was 50:50 Vallejo Model Air 71.050 Light Gray and Vallejo Model Air 71.053 Dark Sea Gray, applied with an airbrush over white and black zenith. Then stained with Mig enamel Dark wash, which is then wiped off with a clean brush dampened with turpenoid.
The flag on the deck was made with decal (I-94). I took aluminum tape folded in half. Primed it white, gloss coat, applied the decal and then gloss coated again to seal. When dried for 24 hours, cut the flag out. I had to repaint the red because the decal was pixelating.
I then formfitted the flag in place with a toothpick and a q-tip to conform to stowage and vehicle. After that, a thin coat of gel super glue, and put it back into place.

That looks really good, Paul! I would love to see GHQ offer some turrets on some of their more popular models with Tank Commanders in the open hatch.
I would also love to see some open topped vehicle crewmen as well such as German Marders, Russian SU-76, and U.S. tank destroyers.

Going to agree with Pete and Redleg : this is spectacular! Did you sculpt the crews?

Those came out great! I'm going to try your way of making the aerial recognition flags. Do you have a printer preference? Looking forward to seeing more.

Thanks, guys.
foxbat - I did and didn't sculpt them. The commanders were Modern Warsaw Pact Tank Commander stl files I bought and resized them, and added hatches with tinkercad using a free 15mm T-34 turret stl file to get right dimensions and details.
Here are pics of the turret with the 3d print before full prime.

regia - I didn't print the flags, but bought the flag decals from I-94. GHQ now has them

Just finished a T-34/76 Model 1943 Battalion (old GHQ Combat Command).
I added tank commanders to all the command tanks.
Here is the boss. (Battalion Commander)
CO of the 1st Company
1st platoon
2nd and 3rd Platoons
CO of the 2nd Company
4th and 5th Platoons
6th Platoon
