There's a post over at the Miniatures Page citing some documents that the 1942 8th Army TO&E removed the 2" mortars and the Boys from the platoon. Two 2" mortars were retained with the CHQ.

How many crew on the 2" mortar?

This doesn't relate to UK troops, but I've got a pretty good handle on Italian infantry, but I need to know how mortars were distributed amongst the troops.
I wish I had something witty to say...

Radios on Universal carriers

Would anybody know if the Universal carriers of the support platoon of a '42 Motor infantry company had radois? And if so how many,and where is the antenna mount if so?
