Just a note to remind fellow gamers of the approaching Hurricon 2006 being held in Orlando, Florida from September 21-24. The convention is put on by the folks at HMGS-South and is one of the greatest gaming events around!

This year the convention is being held at the Holiday Inn Orlando with plenty of gaming space and awesome vendors. Not to mention that the convention is held in Orlando, chock full of plenty of theme parks (Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, etc.) for the rest of the family to enjoy. The Holiday Inn Orlando is also surrounded with plenty of restaurants to satisfy every appetite. No more having to drive 5 to 10 miles to find a place to eat!

I shall be there as always. This time one of my games is 861! which covers the US Marine assault on this hill on the Khe Sanh perimeter in April, 1967. It will feature my collection of GHQ Nam era infantry, Choppers and my Skyraiders. I also did a coupleof Navy Carrier based Phantoms for the chance appearance of a Napalm attack. I have started the terrain already and I think it will be quite attractive.
